  1. I'm fine with the idea of taking a project with higher upside. If it doesn't work out, you can probably get a solid guy out of the portal or a grad transfer to fill the gap when needed.
  2. Get a grip dude what did you expect him to say.
  3. Well I guess that answers our question. Also solidifies that we wasn't just a spring story and is competing for playing time or they wouldn't of put him on scholly.
  4. Which sucks cause there was quite a bit of talent close to Lincoln to be had in this class. And it appears we will get none of it....
  5. Yep only this site. Should have stated I’m on an iPhone so using safari.
  6. Wasn’t sure where to post this but does anybody have trouble using the mobile version of this site. Nearly every page I opens crashes multiple times before I can even get to the bottom of the page. It’s becoming extremely frustrating and getting to the point where I can barely stand to use it.
  7. Lol I have a two year old now. Free time definitely already scarce.
  8. Couldn't go this year cause we will have a newborn in late August. Now I really hope to make this work!
  9. I think their is a pretty good chance Rahmir also moves on. I know it’s early but I wonder if they like Yant enough to get him on scholarship.
  10. Not sure if Domann will ever find a role that suits him in the NFL but that kid can play. I hope he has a breakout year and gets some recognition.
  11. I was going to bring that up but didn't. He wasn't on the either roster for the spring game.
  12. I’m on the same page with you. I feel that Stepp and Scott will both get a lot of reps. Scott just seems like a solid back, much like Ozigbo. Ervin and Morrison are the most intriguing to me as they seem like they are the two potential stars, I hope Morrison doesn’t feel buried and move on. I thought Yant was just a spring story but after seeing him play I feel like he will at least have a role. If he slims down who knows he and Ervin would be thunder and lightning. My gut feeling is that Johnson has been passed up and will look around. Or maybe he can play receiver? Thompson is the biggest wild card as he still seems like he could do a lot of things well but I’m just not sure he’ll ever be the player he was even if he does stay healthy. Overall we have plenty of options, surely there’s a stud in that group.
  13. It would seem like that would be very likely. Although from his picture on Twitter it appears he may be engaged so maybe he wants to stick around for that. Either way I don’t expect him to see the field much.
  14. Stepp, Scott, Ervin, Thompkins, Morrison, Yant, Johnson. That's 7 guys, 6 of which are young guys, in the mix for a few spots.. What's everybody's best guess for how it shakes out this year?
  15. One guy that caught my attention was John Bullock out of Creighton Prep. I thought he made a couple nice plays and looked strong and athletic. Also might of been because he was wearing #85 playing outside linebacker
  16. So I guess it’s being said that Ervin has a real possibility of being the number one back. That would really speak to his ability but would probably clear out half our crowded running back room. Not to mention Yant. He’s may not be a feature back but I think he’ll have his role. *This was suppose to be in the running back room thread.
  17. I think he has the highest ceiling of any QB we’ve recruited in recent years. He reminds me of Josh Allen.
  18. Did Jackson Hannah play at all in the spring game? Also the running back room is crowded with young guys but the competition seems to be wide open still so I hope they all stick around. Rahmir is probably the only one that’s maybe been passed up that I could see leaving. Lynn or Fritzsche are still young but neither has an easy path to playing time as far as lineman..
  19. Doesn’t look like he’s gained much weight which he needs.
  20. Personally I would not want to tackle Jaquez Yant.
  21. Nothing wrong with competition but I like how this is undoubtedly Adrians team now. Hoping for a breakout year. Would also love to see somebody step up at running back and be the man.
  22. Unless he wasn't considering Stille who they've held at this spring. I'd sure think Thomas would be included in that list but who knows.
  23. This is the part where I quit reading.
