  1. But we could be playing Jaimes, Wilson Jurgens, Hixson, and Farniok. Coaches obviously feel that makes them better but now we’re throwing out the young excuse. And I guess in my mind, I don’t think of Robinson and Jurgens as young after starting a full year. Also Warner has played quite a bit more than Betts.
  2. That is kind of an amazing statistic really. But are we really a young offense? We returned our starting QB, RB, TE, Wandale, and our entire offensive line. Granted we replaced Hixson, with Farniok and inserted Benhart, obviously they felt like that made us better. I guess I’m just not buying that. We could have basically rolled with 9 returning starters if we chose...
  3. So we’re holding players accountable for what they do off the field but not what they do on the field. Mk
  4. Sure helps when the throws are on target.
  5. There’s a 4* corner from Omaha that can fill this void nicely.
  6. Yep, neither guy is able to anticipate a receiver being open or throw a receiver open.
  7. Yep.. And l’m not sure a lot of guys in the next class are immediate contributors. I guess maybe the Covid year will give us another year to try and recover.
  8. Yea you can’t help but wonder.. In hindsight the coaches put a lot of eggs in one basket with this group and unfortunately it just didn’t work out.
  9. I remember these Florida guys all being a close knit group when they were recruited. At the time it seemed like a blessing when they were peer recruiting each other. Seemed liked dominoes once one left.
  10. If you ain’t cheatin you ain’t tryin!
  11. No but an even more open path to playing time is likely appealing.
  12. Greene 4*, Francois 4*, Gray 4*, Manning?, that's just from the last class....
  13. Ya I mean at least our guys quit after the first week of practice...
  14. Yes it has.. But are other programs losing their highest rated recruits at the clip we are? Most likely not.
  15. Even the one he wasn't ready for hit him in the shin for Christ sake.. I honestly like how Ferentz responded "If that messes you up then change your cadence". Other coaches find ways to win, we find things to whine about..
  16. Exactly. You've recruited, so it's on you one way or another. No matter how you look at it, we've had a lot of kids come and go in Frost's first few years and it's hard to establish your culture with so many guys coming and going. It's all on him at this point he needs to own up to it.
  17. Yep.... Staff came in and immediately rubbed some kids the wrong way but winning cures everything... Unfortunately this staff got some unlucky breaks and now nothing is going to come easy.
  18. And bottom line Frost recruited all these guys.. I understand you'll always have misses but just from the last class we have Greene 4*, Francois 4*, Gray 4*, Delancey 3* (regarded as a steal), looking like Fleming 4*, Manning 4* #1 JUCO. That's is a large chunk of talent that apparently didn't fit your culture...
  19. That is a good point. On the flip side of that this was bascially a free year and the NCAA will be granting waivers left and right. And while those guys may believe, good players want to win. They may say, "I believe in you Scott, but I want to be sure I win some games and not get killed (Wandale) these next couple years, good luck."
  20. Exactly.. Frost is in a catch 22 because he's trying to establish his culture but you have to win for guys to want to be a part of it.. As stupid as it sounds I go back his first year where he just couldn't catch a break, that was an 8 win team and we ended up 5-7 and it's been down hill ever since.
  21. If he would of went to Iowa he'd probably be 1st team all B1G by now.
  22. You think? Like letting the center have 4 errant snaps before finally making a change and then putting that player right back in the second half?
  23. While I agree with what you're saying, my point is it's just a lot harder to do when you don't have the talent that Frost is accustomed to having.. Maybe he needs to pick his battles a little bit I'm not sure. He may be fired before his culture ever sets in at this rate..
