I have been thinking about this and I'm not so sure Mickey Joseph would be the best option. Just because he can recruit to LSU does not necessarily mean he can recruit to Nebraska. I'm not saying it can't work but maybe we should find a guy who can Hammer the 500-mile radius and keep some of our four-star talent in state Just not so sure that Louisiana guys want to go to Nebraska with the perception of maybe winning four games

I see 2-4 wins next year. If I was AD I would be looking for a replacement in the OC. That is why I think courting Bill O'brien or Herman is really the only solution. If it works out with one of them at OC great if not well then we don't have to look very far. Also Frost would feel the heat and maybe not try and throw the ball inside the EFFING 6 yard line after A.Brown fair catches a punt on the effing 6 yard line.

Good get IMO, we need someone who can go down in the south and recruit. Not a easy job to convince players to leave the state or the south in general.

To be honest I have never been sold on Lincoln Riley, Now that he is actually going to have to do some coaching. It is a whole different animal in USC than it is in Norman. I don't think it is as great of a hire as everyone thinks it is going to be. Best news is Urban to USC is no longer a thing.

The question that keeps coming up to me about he OC hire is. Are they going to be able to do enough in 1 year to prove to the fans that we are heading in the right direction. In order to prove that to me it has to be a big time coach to even move the needle. If not I would say scrap it and get a completely new staff, to me all signs point to us looking for a new head coach in a year anyway outside of a Tom Herman OC hire. I do not see any options on the table that would get me excited about a OC other than Herman.
