  1. Has it been confirmed that Mast is coming back??? I know that Williams and Gary have been confirmed but haven't heard anything about Mast.
  2. Usually when that happens the player commits soon but to me it seems like Nebraska is an option but not locked in to gain his commitment especially if he is going to visit Alabama. It feels like there could be other visits set up to other programs that we haven't heard about yet.
  3. What ever happened to that freak juco defensive tackle?? I thought he was supposed to visit???
  4. I do think since we are his first official visit out of all the schools that have offered him we have a higher percentage of landing him bc that means he already has a certain type of bond with the coaches so far and it certainly will get stronger as his season plays out.
  5. Also good for us. Our defensive players don't have to learn a new scheme.
  6. So let's say Tony White does leave what are the ramifications from that? Do certain players transfer out to follow him bc of the defense he runs or is that even a possibility bc your already locked in to your scholarship? I understand that HC Matt Rhule would have to find another DC and the defense would have to learn another system so those are 2 things that could come from him leaving.
  7. I think it was a smart decision to give his defense some rest.
  8. Down by 16 at the half 47-31 and that's the most points Northwestern has scored in a half all season. Nebraska doesn't look like a NCAA tournament team away from home.
  9. Nebraska isn't a good road team and unfortunately I have to agree with you on that.
  10. Well in a blink of a eye with 9:30 to go in the first half already down by 13.
  11. Tight game so far getting out rebounded already down by 3 with 12 minutes to play in the first half. 16-13 was the score now 18-13 with Northwestern getting a chance to make a free throw for a 3 point play. Northwestern has more intensity on defense rn.
  12. Is he supposed to be making his decision any day now or is he going to say where he wants to go on National Signing Day?
  13. I'm not making my point on that. My point is that when you only give the running back on your team 8 attempts to run and your starting qb has the same attempts bc of broken plays or direct plays the offense is going to limit themselves in trying to keep the defense guessing. Once Kansas City figured out that Baltimore wasn't going to try to run the ball they blitzed and Lamar couldn't do it by himself and didn't have enough help around him to make plays. Zay Flowers reach for the goal line was another example as to why you don't try to extend while the ball is exposed. Great effort poor execution. I understand the stats you provided but your not going to win much important games in the playoffs if your offense is limited unless your defense can carry the offense which clearly didn't happen.
  14. When is he supposed to visit again?? I thought he was coming on a visit at the end of January but I could be mistaken.
  15. Definitely a Hall of Fame caliber qb already for only being in the league for 7 years. The average NFL player last in the league for 11 years.
  16. Damn Detroit came to play. What a play call!!
  17. They won(Chiefs). You saw what happened to the Ravens not running the ball. Limited by not doing what got them there in the first place. It helped by penalties not being called and the Ravens hurting themselves with poor discipline(personal foul) penalties.
  18. There were certain plays by both teams that didn't get called. The Ravens rb intentionally tripped Chris Jones in the end zone which would have been a safety. The Ravens didn't run the ball as much as I thought for being the number 1 rushing team in the NFL.
  19. Is he considered a hybrid te? I ask bc I know he has good offers to play at some pretty big programs but I don't know too much about him. Is he considered a top 10 te as well?
  20. Oops lol. Yeah you get the my point with making stupid decisions during key parts within the game and I should have said that bc of his lack of judgement contributed to the losses which ultimately got him fired. But you said it perfectly thank you.
  21. I never said it was slight. I said it could be that's all. I watched a couple games this year and during his introductions there wasn't a shout out so that's why I said it would have been cool if he did to have 2 guys mentioned Nebraska on a big stage like that where the nation is watching. No biggie thanks for finding it by the way.
  22. You and I know you give the best player on your team the chance to win the game. Lynch was robbed of that opportunity. Yes the defense could have stopped him but there wouldn't be any second guessing. You don't try and give the other team who was clearly clicking on offense at the time the opportunity to put more points on to you a short field to work with. You let them earn the right to beat you not giving them more chances to pull away from you. If the Chiefs would have scored on the play the Bills would have been down by 10 with little time let. Yes Josh Allen is a stud of a qb but clearly the Chiefs defense showed up and came up big for them. When Scott Frost was the coach and went for the fake punt against Northwestern and got stopped nobody patted him on the back and said nice try. Everyone questioned his judgement of the play call and his lack of judgement on critical times of being a head coach here got him losses which ultimately cost him.
  23. True but we all have seen what happened during the Superbowl with the Seahawks and Patriots where they didn't hand off the ball to Marshawn Lynch. Im just saying that Nebraska coaches have tended to over think things in key situations. It's like yesterday we all know the Bills should have punted the ball on 4th and 5 in their own territory but they decided to fake it and that almost put them down by 10. If Hardman didn't reach for the end zone to try to score they would have scored on the next play or so. I understand your trying to take the ball out of Mahomes hands but that was a dumb decision.
  24. The thing is that I don't think I have even seen him mention Nebraska's name recently during the introduction's. It's a good question to ask about the relationship between Nebraska and him bc you just don't know how they are. You definitely hope it's good but maybe he feels Bo got shafted by Nebraska.
  25. Nobody is crying at all @GSG
