Hold up just bc I don't go into specific things doesn't mean I don't know. Yes I can go into detail and I know we have Fidone on the team but is he the clear starter going into next season bc he didn't play this season that's a big if and that goes for the rest of the te on the roster that are unproven as well and Im sorry if I couldn't remember the last qb Haarberg was on scholarship or should I say all the irrelevant qb's that we have or other football players that have really not made a difference being on the team.

Well I'd add about 10 or more transfer guys at certain positions. Wr, Te, O-line and D-line bc clearly we are lacking in developing the guys we have now on the team other wise we could say such and such is clearly the starter. Yes Marcus Washington is the starter coming back but didn't get much production out of him as a playmaker and not much help after him.

Good luck to that. He didn't even elevate our running backs and you think you can elevate a program next?? Take it step by step first.

Thanks. I think that Nebraska hasn't really added a ton of guys from the transfer portal this year yet or don't know if they planned too. Haven't really heard of a ton of offers go out on the offense side of the ball other then tackle or qb.

Well with Casey Thompson expected to come back and adding Jeff Sims, Head Coach Matt Rhule's qb room should look pretty different next year. I don't think your doing your roster any good to have at least 5 scholarship qb's on your roster. Can't remember if we have any other qb's or not on scholarship just know that's too many guys in the qb room. I fully expect to at the very least have 3 guys leave.

So who is our starting te suppose to be coming into next season?

Unfortunately I think he is Tennessee bound and do I like our pickups on the o-line not really but I understand what TA said we are a developmental program. To me they are projects guys that are going to take years to develop before they even see the field and who knows if they ever contribute here by starting. That is the issue I'm having bc our o-line is bad and it doesn't look like much improvement by adding guys is helping.

Even if we gained his commitment one would hope that we start with getting o-line recruits to protect him bc without a good o-line he can't be successful on his own. You can get away with it in highschool but in college its a whole other ball game. Donovan Raiola better be working on o-line recruits now bc to me he is our biggest weakness as a coach. Yes he took over a dumpster fire but you can't say he has improved on adding great recruits to the room. He may be able to coach and develop but he needs to do a better job at recruiting other wise it won't matter who you have under center moving forward.

No thank you on Runza and no thank you on getting o-line guys that cant make a difference for at least 3 years.

I don't think so with being drafted. I thought he should have came back to work on certain things. He didn't have a highly productive year like many thought he was going to have. Wish him well though.

With Casey coming back I'm glad for him but until we see improvement on the o-line one has to hope he doesn't end up being injured again. The o-line is a liability and one has to wonder if they plan on doing more rpo plays if Casey can handle that. There were times last year where he should have kept the ball but looked real hesitant to run. I don't know if Head Coach Matt Rhule will tailor the plays around Casey or if he has to run the offense that they want to run and learn a new playbook all over again.

For all the new addition's that we got today I certainly didn't expect to see any of those 3 names. I thought we were going to get Chief Borders, Malik Hornsby, and Eric Fields today. One can only wish and I'm not knocking any of the guys who committed I was just saying it seemed like a done deal bc they all seemed pretty high on Nebraska but things can change any minute in the world of college football.

It would be nice to see our o-line coach actually be able to recruit kids to come here but haven't seen much improvement in that area. You would think it would start with the hogs up front by trying to recruit them first. This recruiting cycle has been pretty uninspiring with o-line recruits and d-line recruits.

Purdy coming out of highschool was ranked as a dual threat qb so you think he would flourish in this type of offense.

He maybe so but I hate how other programs try to piggyback off of us. We found the prospect and showed interest first. Don't all those programs have bigger fish to catch anyways.
