  1. Coach Rhule. When he says he hasn't had any coaches visit him and he is 85% committed there is something to question there. Can't sleep on him or other teams with swoop in and try to steal his commitment. Maybe CR doesn't want him as a wr for his offense who knows
  2. Yeah me too but since there isnt many highlights of this kid you don't know what your getting. My brother who is a Nebraska fan as well isn't thrilled bc he isn't ranked. Meaning it's going to take time for him to develop. TA did say we are a developmental program so maybe it's not about all the flash of the recruiting world

  4. Hope he stays on but one never knows behind the scenes on what's going on. It would help if we actually had a wr coach for him to build a relationship with or even CR. Definitely a diamond in the rough wr who has great potential.
  5. Nebraska recruited him as a rb. Wish there were highlights of him on the football field so you could get a sense of what type of running back were getting. If you go to his hudl page it's all basketball highlights. He ran for over 1600 yards and had 29 touchdowns through 9 games his senior season.
  6. So are you saying he isn't experienced enough for your liking? You would want someone like Joe Dailey? More seasoned, more proven? Im not trying to talk bad about Husker Fans but for Joe Dailey he ran out of town once bc he had to much pressure on him to succeed from the fans. So if he does come back and is hired I hope his second time around is a better experience for him and he can handle the pressure of trying to win here.
  7. Good for him. Must have loved Prime's pinch to him. Prime is doing the 500 radius like we tried to do last year. Can you only imagine if Prime were to get Coleman as well. Nebraska fans would be looking at Colorado with more hatred.
  8. I know he has coached at Youngstown State and UNI. Has he coached anywhere else? Is he still coaching at UNI? I think that he'd be a great hire. That's one qb that Nebraska fans loved dearly here bc he fought for every yard.
  9. I know Robbie Anderson didn't get along with him that's why he got traded to the Cardinals.
  10. Well when I read it it was free. He just talked about how he had other offers to coach defense especially at a PAC 12 school. He didn't say where just said it wasn't the right fit. Talks about how him taking the job was out of no where. He met Matt Rhule through UCLA and they have kept in touch through out the years. Taking the Nebraska job wasn't about money bc Dino Babers and Syracuse has taking care of their assistant's but it was bc he has aspirations to be a head coach and Nebraska is very recognizable to get there. Won't coach Syracuse's bowl game is already in Nebraska working.

  12. Also didn't he switch positions as well during his college career?
  13. Didn't he transfer out of Nebraska? Don't know if there is any fond memories for him coming back.
  14. Or maybe he is making more with the Rams then he would have with this position. I wonder where CR turns to now?
  15. So Nebraska needs a qb coach and a wr coach or is Omar Hayes coaching them too? What is the limit you can have as a coaching staff?
  16. I think it absolutely had to do with the coaches and the play calling. That is my personal feeling on him.
  17. I love Torres arm but I don't know how that translates to what CR wants to do on offense. I really want CT to stay bc I think he could build on certain things from this year. Im not saying that he couldn't run rpo's if needed to but he was real hesitant to do so at certain times this year. CT had to much faith in the o-line this year to protect him but he did hold on to the ball to long as well. If he was more of a scrambler then you would think he would keep the defense guessing instead of sitting in the pocket trying to wait for the plays to develop. JS I would say is more of a scrambler but has tried to be a pocket passer. With 40 touchdowns and 32 interceptions don't know if that was caused bc of bad decisions or other mistakes not due to him. I think Purdy can be a really good qb but just needs the right coaching. He looked nervous bc he knew the o-line couldn't protect him so he tried forcing things.. Smothers is a great running qb but has lacked in trying to be a pocket passer. They all bring something to the table but they are different that's part of the problem and I believe Haarberg is the odd man out as well.
  18. Out of the current qb's on the team who do you think should hit the portal? Do you think that having CT and JS they can coincide with each other? Bc I believe JS is looking to start and CT was the starter.
  19. Can someone please explain to me how Cincinnati has a football program is better then Louisville? Yes I understand that Cincinnati has had more success with Luke Fickell but Louisville had success with Lamar Jackson as well. You would think that Louisville could pay their coaches way more then Cincinnati.
  20. Since Nebraska has interest in bringing in Jeff Sims what does that mean for CT? I wonder how the qb room is going to look next year.
  21. Love your sarcasm in the morning definitely wakes me up!!!!!!
  22. So since he went back to his alma mater who is going to take over at Purdue?
