  1. Hahaha. Purdue is getting shut out by Wisconsin….suck it Brohm
  2. More of this please. I ask my clients, “are you here to get better or to just go through the motions. If you’re not here to get better you might as well stay home”
  3. This was my biggest complaint with frost. Use the cards you were dealt and make the most of it. Good coaching is to play to their strengths instead of exposing their weaknesses. adapt the game plan according to who you have on the roster instead of trying to force the roster into a system they just can’t execute. It’s like Whipple is trying to force a square peg into a circular hole and just can’t figure out why it’s not working. It’s frustrating to watch.
  4. Whip just needs to start game planning around this. Start having Grant feign a block shovel pass right up the middle to him or have CT be ready to pull it down and run it. Screen pass, or roll Casey out. There are a lot of things you can do knowing your edges are going to get beat the majority of the time.
  5. Another week of watching our Oline implode and Thompson not taking advantage of it. Can you just step up and run please. I feel like if Thompson and Martinez had a baby we would be in contention for the conference championship every year said love child plays
  6. Wow Brohm in the presser “ this win was disappointing” I genuinely hope you lose every game the remainder of the season.#scofrocurse
  7. Brohm wins the biggest dbag award for that BS. Nebraska wins that game if we don’t have tomato cans for Oline. Sorry bro you ain’t ohio state or michigan
  8. Like the parting of the red f#&%ing sea and he either doesn’t see or he doesn’t want to get banged up
  9. Casey has the running lanes open all day. Pull it down and go son!
  10. This weekend will be very telling. If we somehow come away with a win I think we get at least 2 more wins this season. If not we may not win another.
  11. *bearing. And I think it does. Combined with the other stats I cited. it is 17 year running trend. I get what you are saying that it’s not very often we get the opportunity to get back to back road game wins, but you can’t ignore it. But maybe this is they year we break the trend but if I was putting money on it, I wouldn’t pick Nebraska to win. But hey if I’m wrong, I’m more than willing to eat some crow.
  12. Honestly I don’t see us winning back to back to back BiG games. We haven’t done it since 2016. And we haven’t won back to back road games since….2006?! I dunno I’d like to say we are due but we haven’t had Purdues number for the last 100 years like we have had Rutgers. That and they are better at almost every stat that matters, we may get blown out if the Oline doesn’t magically learn how to pass pro by next week. Although the spread has gone from 13.5 to 12 so there’s that..
  13. Exactly if you are going to try and extend the play you have to MOVE. Can’t just sit in the pocket or just keep back pedaling. Gotta use the s#!tty blocking to step up or try and get lateral outside the hash marks. He literally backs up 5-10 yards and just sits there or throws off his back foot.
  14. Your take is pretty spot on. When he has protection he throws strikes for the most part. Only criticism I have for him is when the edges do get their doors blown off he has a tendency to turtle shell and not extend the play/ step up or scramble. Case in point, that 10 yard scramble up the middle he made against Rutgers. That kind of run was open for him ALL game and really every game this season. He needs to be coached up on seeing that if the pocket is closing on his edges or from behind he needs to pull it down and RUN. If he doesn’t want to run because he is banged up, run and slide and take the 3 to 4 yards instead of a sack or incompletion.
  15. If when they got the ball they gained enough yards to get enough first downs to score points each drive and conversely if they would have stopped their opponents from scoring points by not allowing them to gain enough yards to get first downs, my take would have been spot on.
  16. Our outside tackles are tomato cans, but we knew that already. Sometimes stutter stepping and juking thin air isn't the best play when you have 15+ yards of open field in front of you, Grant, then running hard right up the a$$ of a line man on 3 and long may not be the highest IQ play either. Our defense likes to show up DOA the first half just so they can show us how good they can be the second half of a game. We can actually win back-to-back B1G games. We can actually win one score games. Whipple needs to lay off the sauce. Tonight's win had a face only a husker fan could love
  17. Agreed. While I think the coaching record of .556 at Iowa State is kinda cool from a gun guys perspective(yes I know the decimal is in the wrong spot) the prospect of a Matt Campbell hire feels like another Mike Riley era in the making. No thanks
  18. I’m new here but I figured I’d get roasted. I couldn’t care less though. I appreciate ya!
  19. Yeah I saw that as well. 14 points from Iowas offense seems to be their MO this season regardless of who they are playing.
  20. So….. you think we will win by more than 17?? I’m an optimist not a crazy person
