OKC won't be able handle their size and physicality either, barring injuries, Minny is going to their first Finals. And Ant is reminding me of 86 87 MJ where he's putting the league on notice, he's about to take the throne for best player in the league. Dude is just dominating on both sides of the ball. Eye opening to watch him right now.

I thought there was some clock that you had to enroll within 5 years of HS graduation to have any eligibility. I remember hearing/reading about this when Weinke won the Heisman, and he was going to be one of the last ones that would be able to do this. Did this restriction get removed as well with the NCAA having their backside handed to them with transfers and NLI?

100% agree! If the games are on TNT, and the first game is running long, move the start of the second game to TBS and bump whatever rerun of Law & Order is playing. ESPN can at least move the start of game 2 one of their other channels. Imagine if the Pacers/Knicks ended up going to OT, you would have potentially missed 1/3 of the game, just a complete disservice to the fans that want to watch that game.

And with his skill set, he would be a nice 2nd string option for teams like Baltimore or Philly, where both teams incorporate the QB run into their game plan. Having a back-up who can "sling it" and be mobile will allow these teams to not have to modify the playbook for when the back-up has to come in.

Is there a bigger @$$hole in the NBA than PatBev? Dray is a distant second IMO. I'm sure he, and the Bucks were being heckled all night by Pacers fans, but to pipe a ball at a woman's face, get the ball back from a fan and then pipe the ball at that fan was completely out of line. Those two fans could (and maybe should) go after his money and the NBA better fine and suspend him for that. If the NBA is all about player safety and keeping fans off the court and preventing another Malice in the Palace situation, then the players need to be held accountable as well and what PatBev did was egregiously past the line of acceptable. That series was really good and odd. So much being made about the Lakers "winning" 75% of the series and losing 4-1. What that tells me, even with a guy on the Mt. Rushmore of basketball, he couldn't figure out a way to have his team perform in the clutch. Which has been the criticism of him his whole career, his lack of 'killer instinct and closing' and shying away from the big moments. Minny Denver should be fun. Minny has the size to defend Joker and body him up with KAT, Gobert and Naz Reid. Ant is playing at a superstar level. Denver is very well balanced and assuming the rest does Murray, KCP and Jackson well and gets them healthy, it'll be a great series. I think it goes 7 and Denver wins because of homecourt. IMO, this will be Denver's toughest playoff test in their last 2 play off runs. I think the winner of this series will represent the West against those dirty cheaters from boston in the Finals.

Explain why Jameis Winston sucked at NO? He played 9 home games in a dome, road game at Atl, Carolina and Tampa. So that's practically 12 games in near perfect weather conditions where most QBs can do pretty good in that environment and yet his TD to INT ratio is like 1.2:1. Or explain Rattler who played for the Falcons and had the same ideal conditions and also sucked bald donkey balls. CJ had a great season, the question now is, now that teams have a season worth of film on him and can adjust to what they do, can he continue to be a great QB or was it a flash in the pan season?

Loved what Philly was able to get. Was some talk about moving up to the early teens to get Mitchell, or "settle" for DeJean at 22. To think that Mitchell fell in our lap at 22 is amazing. We'll see how tonight goes, hearing that there is a possibility of packaging our 2 second round picks and moving into the first few picks to get Edgerrin Cooper, but there is also a strong want for Javon Bullard. Cooper is probably gone before 50, Bullard is right around 50. I personally would love for us to get Maason Smith or Kris Jenkins and pair that with Bullard. If we can do that, I'll consider it another great night. If we can't get one of those two DTs, I see S and highest LB/CB on our board. Not a 49er fan, but considering their top 3 WRs are all on their last year of their current deal, solid pick up for a team that doesn't have a lot of current holes/needs.

CP3 is guaranteed 30 million for next season. Whatever he agrees to in term of buyout is the hit the Warriors take against the salary cap. It won't help the Warriors sign a key piece, and with the team being so far over the cap, they don't get all the money to spend. If they renounce all their cap holds, the salary on the books (assuming every option is picked up) for next year is $170M for only 9 players. If team options aren't picked up, and those rights are renounced, the Warriors remove an additional 13ishM from salary and two more players. If GPII turns down his player option, about another 9 comes off the books and the Warriors are down to 6 contracts at roughly $148M. The salary cap is predicted to be around $145M, so the Warriors are still over the cap even if no option is picked up. Meaning, all they can do is the Mid-Level Exemption, Vet Minimum and Rookie deals. If they can agree to a buyout with CP3, it saves them salary, but won't give them any extra 'buying power' for free agents, it'll probably move them a few million under the cap and give them one more Exemption they can use to go over the cap. Only way to get a star player is via trade and not sure the Warriors have the pieces necessary for that to happen, unless they mortgage the future and trade multiple 1st round picks and include players like Kuminga and Wiggins to make the trade work salary wise. Dunleavy is going to take the fall for Myers contracts and cap challenges he left behind. Resigning Dray for 4 years and resigning Poole to a max extension is hurting this team. Next year, they will have a lot of money available with basically only Dray and Steph under contract. That would give them the flexibility to sign a star in FA and probably enough room to sign a good role player. Warriors are cooked for next year, it'll be a struggle for them to make the play-in.

What star are you realistically thinking the Warriors could get for what they can offer? And is he a good fit for the style that Kerr runs? After renouncing the rights to Klay, they will basically have the cap space equivalent to the MLE, meaning to get a star they will have to trade for him. Salary-wise they'd have to move multiple pieces, and potentially picks. I don't think the Warriors will be able to get a star without mortgaging their future and moving a lot of picks. I do not envy Dunleavy at all. The only rumored star I've heard that could potentially be on the block is Spida Mitchell. Maybe AD if Lebron leaves in FA to go play with Bronny. There's always moves that shock me over the summer, that said I think the Warriors are cooked.

I imagine, curious to see if they try to move Dray and/or Wiggins, let Klay walk and if they do, does Steph want to stay for a rebuild and do they want to pay Steph during a rebuild? And now with CP3 being an expiring contract, what will they do with him? Myers left at the right time, a lot of pressure on Dunleavy to get this aging team back into championship contenders. To do so, most, if not all, of the core will need to be replaced. Splash Bros run is over and not sure they'll be able to find players good enough to run Kerr's style at a high enough level to compete. Next year, if they keep the same core, not sure they are good enough to even make the play-in game in the West.

The way Chucky's family has been treated, and the way Chucky has been treated at PBA, I'd say there is about .0001% chance he's heading to Lincoln. If the team-up with former teammate FF is an option, the opportunity is in Omaha.
