  1. Assuming they had valuables in there, and then getting a true actual value of the pieces that may have been stolen. Good luck getting anyone to reimburse. If they find that sucker, let me know who, as I got some stuff stolen too.
  2. You sure the Lakers are better?
  3. Not sure he's 'young' anymore, but Jack White on the strings is pretty effin amazing.
  4. You may not like her talent, but she doesn't need Kelce for a marketing gimmick. She recently had a record breaking tour that multiple cities cite as a significant reason for an economic boon to their city. A tour so successful, they have now released it in theaters. Record setting record sales with multiple albums in the top 10. Dating a person, who was relatively unknown outside of the football world, does nothing for her. If anything, this is a marketing win for Kelce, but there's no logical reason for the non-tin foil hat wearers, that Swift would do this. She doesn't need the money or the exposure, and the jersey apparel sales aren't going to her. Kelce shot his shot, it worked, and he'll be the subject of one her future break up songs, simple as that.
  5. Lebron dropped "ish" twice last night after the Suns/Lakers game. Two nights in a row, I'm betting we will see Silver drop some fines today to prevent this from becoming a regular occurrence. Speaks to how much is expected of Luka, dropping 30 point triple doubles is just ehh, routine for him.
  6. To relate to a different sport, Reggie Miller had about the ugliest jumper, no one wanted to change it because his shot went in more than not, and the shot gurus were worried correcting his form would ruin his shot. While there's not a lot to 'ruin' for Haarberg, he's set in his motion. This is stuff that should have been corrected in HS/Middle School, but I do wonder how much they threw the ball and had a coach who cared. As long as they won more than they lost, they didn't care about his mechanics.
  7. Great game to be at, very much like the WCF, close game, but never in doubt.
  8. They were also national champions in 1983.

Eagles fans looking at their next 7-8 games.
  10. If him and Chet can stay healthy, that'll be a fun rivalry to watch for years to come.
  11. Nebraska - 27 Wildcats - 6 Pass - 163 Rush - 219
  12. Last time I was in Vegas, went to Gordon Ramsay Steak and it was incredible. Expensive, but incredible. How was HK?

Nice little shake up in the NFC, Lions are legit contenders to win the division. Browns and Jets big upset wins to give the first loss to the Eagles and 9ers. Lions staying under the radar and just playing good ball. Still think SanFran is the class of the NFC, and now see the Lions and Eagles on the same step, a step below them. Not sure who would be 4th in the NFC. AFC seems to be destined for a Dolphins/Chiefs showdown. Have no faith in the bills, or anyone else in the AFC to really have a legit chance. Of course all that could change with injuries or any pending trades. And somewhat related to injuries, had a friend snap his achilles tendon 10ish years ago, he was in a cast for 2 months. Pretty wild to hear that ARod was able to be in shoes walking around and throwing pregame today. The speed of improvements in medical procedures and recovery times is amazing.
  14. Kyrie has said and done some stupid things. Lillard.........not so much
  15. My main concern about Satt is his ability to evaluate portal QBs, I know it's a small sample size, but it's off to a rocky start. Depending on who may be available next off-season and who Nebraska can land will either change or solidify that concern.
  16. A lot more go because that's what you do on Friday nights. My BIL still goes to every BellWest game because he's done it for 10+ years, none of his kids go there, and most of the people he sits with at the games are the same way. There's decent sized crowds at their games, I'd say it's more than 30% at the game don't have a child competing or performing in any capacity.
  17. Unless someone leaves of his own free will for a better opportunity, I don't think anyone should be pushed out. All things considered, it hasn't been perfect, but it has been much better than the last 5 years and overall I'm liking the direction of the program. Hopefully Rhule and staff continue to build on it.
  18. Competitive cheer is the all-star cheer. We live in Omaha, we go to 4 of these 6 every year (depends on which weekends they are and how many of the gyms teams can go) Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Milwaukee, Kansas City and Des Moines and qualify annually for Nationals at ESPN Studios in Orlando. Our family "vacations" are the 4-5 weekends we are out of town for competitions. And his description is about right, 7-8 hours in the arena, listening to that same dub-step type music and teams compete for 2 1/2 minutes. It can be some long days, but worth it as she absolutely loves it and she's good at it. This is her last year, so I'm soaking it all in before she's out on her own. She's gotten a handful of scholarship offers to head out of state to continue doing all-star cheer at the collegiate level, she's not sure if she wants to do that or to focus on what will be the next chapter of her life and get physically healthy. I'm fairly sure she'll stay in Omaha for college.
  19. It is, but I go to support her and her passion. When she's on her all-star team, it's more enjoyable. Going to watch her cheer at HS games is rough. She does it for the HS clout, she doesn't really enjoy it either.
  20. Not a fan, daughter on the cheer team, so I go watch the HS team to watch her cheer. Maybe in a year when she's done with HS, I'll have a different feeling about it, but not a fan right now.

I don't know, right now i think Niners are head and shoulders best team in the NFL. Eagles haven't been able to put together a complete game. Niners will maul them. Barring injuries, Niners could make the dolphins keep the champagne on ice all year.
  22. I agree, not sure how much better this offense can be, just saying if we had an average offense, we'd be a good team, an 8-4/9-3 type team. With our below average offense, we will be a borderline bowl eligible team. Considering the last 6-7 years, that an improvement.
  23. Biggest takeaway from the game, we are an average offense away from being a good team.
  24. Huskers 17 Illini 27 Run 193 Pass 118
