  1. Frost is the right person for the job. Unfortunately this mess will take longer than a few years to fix.
  2. No, Fischer turned out to be a very good coach. One of the few I wouldn't mind if they were retained. But I guess that ship has sailed... although I don't seem to remember a wr coach being named.
  3. The sock should not be fearful of The Ginger Assassin, he should be fearful of the uses Bret Bielema would have for a sock. Eeeeeeeeewwwwww
  4. The sock should not be fearful of The Ginger Assassin, he should be fearful of the uses Bret Bielema would have for a sock. Eeeeeeeeerwwwwww
  5. And a Mizzou player cried.... that means an angel got it's wings...
  6. MizzLoser fans, especially entering their first year in the SEC. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=d4E8mUxELNY&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dd4E8mUxELNY
  7. I will take our class any day of the week and twice on Sundays over anything MizzLoser puts together.
  8. MU fans= MizzLosers It fits so well... M-I-Z... Z-O-U... L-O-S-E-R... (Sung to the tune of the Mickey Mouse Club theme.) They even try to start it as a cheer at their games... But they are tone-deaf and most of them are unable to correctly spell loser, so they tend to stop before they are completely finished.
  9. Any member of the Tigger offense after an encounter with Suh.
  10. NOW it makes sense. This is where Lil' Red came from!!!! No that would appear to be the origin of Truman.
  11. Because they came into Lincoln and caught us with our pants down around our ankles and kicked the crap out of a team that was clearly still struggling to get things together. What they don't realize is that was the high point of their season... they got progressively worse throughout the season and we got progressively better. Now they have lost Booger, Maclin, their OC and DC... and they are talking smack??? LAUGHABLE... there must be a 2 for 1 sale on "special brownies" and Koolaid in Columbia. They were flat out mediocre by the end of the year, NU would have beaten them in a re-match and KU did squash their little dreams (I laughed and laughed as I watched any hope for a BCS bowl slip through their fingers). Helu and Lee will be the real deal, Suh and the Blackshirts will be in the backfield more than their starting running back, Gabbie will acquire a taste for dirt and grass (he'll be eating as much of that as Daniels ate boogers) and we will be shoving humble pie down their throats in Columbia this year. Oh, did I mention I hate MizzLoser... ;D
  12. I'm sorry, but if a kid leaves a school because of abuse like that he should not be forced to lose any eligibility. I know that will never happen, but come on it's the right thing to do. I guess Stoops played nicey nice to avoid leaks of abuse and did the best he could so that there will be no clear-cut evidence (damaging his program) of that abuse. But if the rumors above are true, it seems a bit unfair to punish the player and the new school for the actions of a coach. There should be some sort of a clause to allow the coach to waive the loss of eligibility.
  13. well you are right. They say if the ball is kicked then it is automatically ruled down. The thing about the rule is though, it has to be INTENTIONALLY kicked. And i think it is obvious that it wasnt done on purpose. Of course there will still be people(missouri fans) that cry that "it was kicked" without understanding it had to be done intentionally. Dude they (MizzLoser fans) are constantly telling me that it was not only a kick, but an intentional/illegal kick. Basically, everyone down in these parts thinks we cheated to win that year (I say that's BS) and that MU now owns NU (that will change kitty fans). They constantly mention "the kicked ball" in the same breath as the CU "5th down." We need to get back (and I believe we turn the corner this year) to the point where MU is nothing more than a bug on the windshield.
  14. I hear about this play and 41-24 times 2 every year we play MizzLoser. Please let us beat the snot out of them this year and return to dominating them in Columbia again, so this can stop.
  15. On another board they are saying that 1620 just announced Leon is back on the team.
  16. The secondary is really the biggest question mark we have on defense. On offense I hope to see improved o-line play (I am reasonably sure we will) and an end to the disturbing trend of WR's dropping catchable balls (this might still be a problem).
  17. Rumors on other boards are saying that he might stay, apparently his parents are advising him not to run from his problems. As always I take all rumors like this with a grain of salt. I'll believe it when an official announcement is made.
  18. I agree with those who have said that #16 is about where we need to be ranked in the pre-season polls. I think we will finish better than that with a win over either USC or Texa$$ and probably lose one game to a Big XII opponent that we should defeat. This would pretty much assure us of the Big XII North championship and a berth in the CCG. Which IMHO is right on schedule.
  19. You know he's got the drive to do it. He's got the heart, but does he have the measurables? We will see! Go Cory! They got a great bargain...I still believe he can be a solid pro... I agree... Cory is much better than he got the chance to show behind the questionable o-lines of the last few years. His heart is 10ft tall and he doesn't know the meaning of the word quit. I think the Ravens will find him to be very valuable and an excellent bargain.
  20. Thanks! Talking Husker football is always fun.
  21. I've got to admit I was a bit worried earlier with the reports coming out of spring practice. However, Beck is only a freshman and I think he will be fine. It took Taylor a while to get the hang of things and he had more experience than Beck. Callahan has gone on record saying Beck is on track and that he is not worried. I defer to his judgement.
