So I'm still listening to Delaney speak. Correct me if I'm wrong, did he say that the BTN will be showing Husker sports even though we'll still be competing in the Big XII this academic year?

I would say that is the only tradition that truly matters. If you don't have that who cares about any others? Just my opinion, but now I will be called an arrogant Nebraska fan by someone. Not by me. I got your back!

Ok, I don't watch soccer much, if ever, so forgive the stupid question I'm about to ask. I see that South Africa and Mexico are tied 1-1 at Full Time (that's the lingo right?). So is the match a draw or do they do a shootout or something?

They have to join by that date to be considered for BCS games in 2011. They can still join after, but won't be BCS eligible for 2011 if they have to wait. I'm almost positive that's the way I read it. (beginning interweb search now)

The UFL is definitely loving Omaha. They'll be announcing the 6th team for the 2011 season at the end of this month, followed by 2 more teams later for a total of 8 teams for 2011.
