Had to make sure I didn't let it go unnoticed. I have been out that way a few times on the way to Denver. I bet we could have some fun though. I know a few folks who went to UNK. And you know you cant spell drunk without UNK I hear that. We're actually having Girls Gone Wild out here next week. I was shocked when I heard they were coming.... here. lol

Got some good news today: I finally paid off my second student loan. Got some bad news today: I looked at the rest of my loans yet to be paid off. I think I need a bailout!! LOL

It does seem awfully similar to the AFI song. How does that saying go? Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery or something. As far as the "emo" tag. What do you all define as "emo?" Is it music that is "emotional?" If so, I'm pretty sure that 3/4 of almost all music could be considered "emo" because it evokes some emotion from someone. Or is it the "guys wearing lots of make-up, painted nails, black clothes and hair" kind of thing?

First off, I am not a fan of any MLB team. I don't watch any of the games (unless it's in person), including the World Series. My question is: How/why are you a Cubs fan? I don't mean it as a bad thing, just curious since I'm pretty sure not all of you are from Chicago or anything. I just find it interesting that there are so many Cubs fans out there.

I'm not really sure what this has to do with him playing football. The coach made a decision that he wasn't cutting it as a starter and put him on the bench. He didn't bitch about it, he played his role and tried to help the team in any way he could. Speaks very highly of his character I think. As far as getting dunked on and being an internet joke, well that just sounds like you don't like him no matter what (maybe you're a Duke hater, I don't know for sure). Yeah, he got dunked on, posterized, etc. He wasn't quick enough or big enough to do much about it on the defensive end. I'm just confused as to what any of that has to do with him playing football. As I see it, if he had the same eligibility as Marve does, I would take him 99 times out of 100. He's proven he's a fighter and that he can handle pressure. Plus, he doesn't bring any of the negativity/baggage that someone like a Robert Marve does.

I thought I saw one a block from work Friday morning, but I was running late and convinced myself it was just a trashcan with a tumbleweed stuck in it. They had a "Big Red Easter Keg Party" last night at the new Tempe Market square with 10 Years, Digital Summer and Razer (free concerts). I'm thinking about taking my Son to U-fest next month at Fear Farm.. 15? bands for only $30 (2 stages) CHEVELLE, DROWNING POOL, STATIC-X, SALIVA, STEEL PANTHER, ALL THAT REMAINS, NONPOINT, SKINDRED, POWERMAN 5000, BURN HALO, VAYDEN, 32 LEAVES, GIANT KILLER, BUTCHER JONES AND SPLIT THE ENEMY. That sounds like a pretty good deal for a good show. I still have yet to go to a big concert. I was gonna go to one last summer but then I moved back to my home town which only has small country concerts.

I used to listen to KUPD in Phoenix. We're not allowed to stream radio on our computers at work, so I don't get to listen anymore. They have a pretty hilarious morning show, "Holmberg's Morning Sickness." Check it out www.98kupd.com

I miss listening to Holmberg's Morning Sickness. You can still listen to it online.. 98kupd I was a little dissapointed in him last week.. Reggie Jackson who I guess was a baseball player here at ASU? was sposed to call in the other day promoting his new chain of Soup-Nazi restaurants, but was ~20 minutes late calling in, so Holmberg hung up on him seconds after he called..Reminded me of the first time I complained about the neighbor's partying all night..(When did I become old?). It just struck me as a little odd..Rock&Roll was innitially an anti-establishment sort of thing.. Now this "Hard Rock Shock Jock" is watching the clock? (Uh oh..that rhymes..I'm a poet and didn't even know it). I listen to it on occasion, but the since I'm in a different time zone it doesn't really work with my schedule.
