I think a 20-25 play scrimmage of 1s vs 1s once or twice a week is a good idea. Helped make the 90s teams so dominant. Gotta do it with what ya got; will make the whole team better.

I agree. Seemed the defense got adjusted by mid-3rd quarter and were making plays through the 4th even though being on the wrong end of TOP (by A TON). And did I see our offense looking better conditioned than the Fresno defense in the second half? B'leeve I did...

I agree. Fresno State, on this night, would have beaten most B1G 10 teams. Probably not Whisky, tOSU, or Mich. State. PSU and Iowa might be a toss-up. Here's a memory for you... In 1994, we led a middle of the WAC Wyoming team only 35-32 with about 5 minutes left in the game. Granted, Berringer played on a one lung, but still... I liked the improvement and adjustments in the second half. Pelini can coach, folks. This team should improve over the season.

Seeing Henery last year as a captain kicked arse. Like flatwaterfan, I like two SRs set with rotating guys every week. Gives players something extra to shoot for.
