  1. I see what you are saying and to clear it up for you... He's toast. He's lost the support, he's lost the team, he's lost the fans, he's lost the boosters, he's lost the state. Nothing will change it. I will wish him the best wherever he ends up in a few years. I think he tried his best, and it simply did not work.
  2. "I'll take option C." "There is no option C." "Really? There's always an option C." -The Rundown with The Rock and Seann William Scott I dont doubt you RaisedHusker. It's cool. Just having a little fun is all.
  3. Say what you will, but the New York Times is probably the most read and best written paper in the United States. ...and Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan rarely if ever make the front page. NY Times IS one of the best papers, most definately. But the comment was kind of funny. Humor is good.

I hear ya. And it's a good and obvious point. I think it comes down to the coach's control & the thought of possibly making a mistake (good grief). So many players that barely see the field. Where's Wil Henry near the goal line? Meno Holt, Niles Paul, Curenski, on and on and on. Every little bit of experience during quality game time builds towards the future. The old saying "they dont lose great players, the just reload". Oh well, maybe things will be different. Gonna stay positive.
  5. This thread is to show some love for the N. It's almost gameday. Sure things have been a little crazy lately. No lie, it's been tough for everyone. So I am volunteering this thread to show your support for the N! It's Texas week! No derailing, no might happen, could happen, but, ifs, and so on. Win or lose, show your support! Keep the thread positive! Husker family ("REGULATORS!!!")... keep it simple, believe, and SHOW YOUR SUPPORT HERE!!! BEAT TEXAS! GBR!!!
  6. Hawaii sounds awesome. I need to go there sometime. I'm just not thrilled about long flights.
  7. Well I heard on the radio by Matt Davison that their first TD drive in the game was most effective b/c the plays were mixed up well, and that they needed to get back to that. This was said a few series after that drive. I didnt know the plays were called by Watson in the first half so I didnt get to listen as carefully about the kind of plays as I might have.
  8. Not to defend Lou's "pep talk" so much, but the point I got out of the whole thing goes beyond it. Listen, there are tons of great games this weekend. What gets me is that he chose Nebraska to give his dedicated on time air to. And to encourage them. That's the cool part in itself. But that's just me. GBR!!!
  9. "Let's kick some names and take some ass."
  10. Absolutely! Things will be good for the Huskers, sooner or later, at some point or another. Keep the faith! And keep the support for the N!! GBR!!!
  11. "I HAVE NO BROTHER!!! HE IS DEAD TO ME!!!" "You broke my heart!" I have more career tackles. But he has three times more attempts.
  12. Welcome back, enjoy, & post away. GBR!!!
  13. hskrdedhed is a good (and unique) poster. He's just a little down, obviously frustrated. Hang in there brotha. My suggestion is to put your Husker stuff back up for the world to see, even in Colorado. Once a Husker, always a Husker. Think of the future. The Huskers will be dominate and return to glory soon. Keep the faith brotha dawg! And keep cheering them on, win or lose!!! And if that doesnt help, just remember what TuffTiger says: The Cornhuskers will ride the pikle again again soon!! (which is about the funniest thing I have evah heard!!!) Husker Pikle Pride right here!!!
  14. Maybe the entire defense at LSU will run through walls and transfer to Lincoln for this guy. Just kidding around! BEAT TEXAS!! GBR!!!
  15. That wasnt a bad pep talk. Lou is pretty fair, he respects Nebraska, and because he chose to spend time on the air to give a positive talk to the Huskers is pretty cool to me. The one a few weeks back where he did the magic trick, tearing up the newspaper was awesome. Lou's cool!
  16. This will be exciting to see. I really have no idea about any of the guys. Because I've never seen them play (except a few mop up snaps by Ganz). Regardless, I believe good things are in store up ahead, and the future for Husker football will be bright.
  17. If this happens, he will come back and say "I told you so." If it doesn't, I wouldn't expect to hear from him. That is such a cynical outlook you have there. I agree, but it's still cynical and I would have added that he would come back, and use the excuse that Callahan keeps asking for more money, thats whats stalling the negotiations. Then when it finally happens "I told you so" comes. Having an honest opinion is not cynical. It can be tough to hear for some I suppose.
  18. Man, I love these weekly threads. As for upsets - I have nothing. But still some great games & hopefully most of the 'dogs win.
  19. I don't know if I am more surprised of the number of Cornhuskers as NFL captains or the lack of Sooners? Lack of Sooners? That's b/c Captains usually dont smoke weed. J/K
  20. Things happen. Let's just pull together and root for the Huskers. Things arent great right now, but we're still Husker family. Have some faith. Things will be good sooner or later. And the guys we have will be the ones getting it done. GBR!!!
  21. this thread is getting brutal. C'mon Husker fans. Easy.
