I see what everyone is saying & pretty much agree. But.. it's kind of cool to watch it happen on TV, as long as no one is getting hurt... and I'm drinking pitchers of beers with my friends and celebrating by kicking down the TV, tearing down pictures on the wall, blowing up the fireplace and carrying the reclyner out the house and around the block! I think he CG will be fine. He prolly wasnt 100%, the coaches new it, they liked the way Castille ran and complimented Lucky and as it turns out, just wasnt enough carries. Its one game, and there will be opportunities that he will shine as the season progresses. Man - all the talk I here about Culbert makes me wish I saw him play. Sounds like he made a good impression. Wonder if Nevada was a little beaten down though, by the time he came in? Not to take too much away from him, but you look up at the scoreboard and it's 4th qtr down 45-10, some guys will have a tendency to mail it in.

I've never been fortunate to see a game live, but observing from the Tele, Husker crowds never appear "hostile" as it is overplayed by coaches. From my standpoint, it usually looks like the fans are paying attention and reserved until a big play occurs. So it would appear that the noise level goes from mild cheering to deafening like that. But hostile? I dont think so.

Wouldnt want it any other way! Kind words by the coach! GBR!!!

Good to hear! Normally if the injury seems serious they take the player straight to the locker room. So I was encouraged to see him sitting on the sideline for awhile after he came off the field. It gave some hope that he was just dinged up and would be back soon.

I was part of the coverage that was switched over to the Wake/BC game. So I missed the option, Ganz running the show, Culbert, Helu, Glenn and everything else in the 4th. Fortunately I wasnt hating, because it was 45-10.

I'm going to say... if he gets hurt (again) this year, Lydon Murtha. One of the top O-line prospects from HS, injuries and lack of progress has limited him to 6 starts in two years. I'm hoping the big fella has a full healthy season to go with a great year at right tackle.

For his first start, I thought Keller did a lot better than Zach did against Maine (15-36 196yds 2int in his first start). As Taylor progressed, so will Keller. Bottom line, I thought Keller did a real good job and I am satisfied and pleased with his game.

Totally exceeded. I'm very satisfied. I thought with the banged up RBs we have, the running game would be rusty. Lucky, Castille, et.all did great! And 600+ total yards? That rocks!
