  2. Two seats and a parking pass. The seats are 36B row 88 and the parking pass is for lot 20, I will take $100 for the three including priority mail. I have to work this sat so if you are interested contact me ASAP
  3. I don't believe Kinnick Stadium could ever hold a candle to the sea of red.
  4. The one we had last year for the SC game we paid in advance but either way I will be glad to donate to the cause. Can you not use the same place as the SC game last year?
  5. That is the wonderfull thing about Husker tailgating the peaple are great and if you talk to the peaple that are tailgating, you will find that we all have a love for the same thing Husker Football. I have met alot of new friends tailgating at Husker games over the years, and my first time I didn't know anyone. For the most part you can talk to just about anyone, and as long as you are not a complete a$$ you will find yourself being invited back. If someone is generous to you return the favor or pass it on to the next person whenever you become a fulltime tailgator, it's what makes the huskernation go round. It's really a great time even at away games like Wake Forest where we took over what I believe was their tailgating spot. So when you see everyone tailgaiting come on in we don't bite.
  6. And as far as trading your tickets and and getting Husker tickets, good luck with that. This is a very good post and I know it hurts for KU & MU fans to have to read it but sometimes the truth hurts. Say what you will about Husker fans but our good program will be SOLD OUT, winning or losing and buy the way I had the Jayhawk Season at 6-6 also, 3-5 in the big 12
  7. You missed a couple things... Tom Osbourne and Bo Pelini That is why I left # 5 open so people could add to the list. Academic All-Americans HMM what is that?
  8. Tony won't be much help, since he's likely be trying to latch onto an NFL team... Yes Tony was denied a med redshirt and is moving on to the NFL & if remember MU was going to beat us last time they came to Lincoln, youtube has those great memories at the touch of a button. I was at that game and if I remember correctly the poor little QB was either looking at the sky while laying on his back or finding out that your not allowed to pass the ball while on your knees. No matter how MU is ranked going into this game never underestimate the power of RED.
  9. Lets not start stripping tickets just yet, yes we should take away the tickets from ticket brokers, but I am a donor also and when you see different peaple in my seats why don't you ask them what they paid. Because of my job and not knowing what saturday's I will have to work sometimes I only get to see a couple of games. I understand what you are saying but many of my tickets have sold right here on this board for face value. I have given tickets to peaple that have never been to a husker game just so they could experience what alot of peaple take for granted. I to sat on that waiting list for years and when I got the chance to buy I scraped up the money and now I save it in the off season. You don't have to be rich to be a husker you just have to have your priority's straight. I will continue to drive my 400 miles one way on sat to watch our huskers play and if I have to give up something out of life to do so then so be it. I would rather have my broke a$$ at the game then money in my pocket sitting at home bitching on my computer. I understand the job aspect as I am the same way. When I am not able to make a game I try to sell/give my tickets to someone who is not able to go regularly, and have donated them as well. And for every person like yourself there is someone who is just as willing to make a buck. The seat owners on one side of me have been to one game in two years. I asked him about it and his reply was quote "Yeah this is the only game im ever going to be able to make it to but i just want to make some money off the seats." It is those people that bother me. There are seats in front of me that have NEVER been used. If they are upgrading their seats when they get in the stadium fine but that still means there are unused seats that could go to people wanting to attend. Sorry to have ranted on this but one thing that I actually liked about Steve P. was that he believed every fan should be able to attend a game. Weed out the money grubers and get the true fans in there. Maybe they should stripp all season tickets found on that POS ebay take away their personal gain and things might be different.

  11. No way...Bo chose to stay with Watson...maybe with Osbornes influence, but in any case he chose to stay with Watson. The offense produced last year, there is no reason not to stay with Watson. Why bring in someone new and start all over with the learning of different terminologies and ways of thinking. The offense is the one stable that we have now...we can build from it. Just because someone comes available don't mean that they will want to come here. Why even start the 2nd guessing that would come if that person didn't want to come here for whatever reason. If you do that, you make the existing OC a lame duck. Knock this crap off...either get behind the existing coaching staff until they give you reason not to, or find something else to do with your time. I don't understand people that want to 2nd guess Bo's decision on OC without giving it a chance under him. If there was any one coach that was highly regarded by the players last year, it was Watson... The position is filled ....live with it.
  12. Man love, deep respect and sending him out in style after his last game- adds up to a gatorade shower!! but opinions obviously vary. GO BO!! If the players didn't have any respect for him they would have just let him walk away, yes opinions do vary, because I would much rather be myself then a clone.
  13. What I got out of the gatorade bath was that his players had a deep respect for him, and watching the game it looked like his players wanted to send him out in style. I hope he brings this love and respect to husker nation, it has been gone to long. We can all say what we want but I believe we got the right guy, so we should show our respect to Bo, his staff and all of our players and bring back the heart and soul of husker football. Let's pack the house for the spring game and let them all know we are behind them. OK now a question, the other assistant that got the gatorade bath, is he one of the coach's that is coming to Neb? The spring game can't get here soon enough.
  14. oohhhh, oooh hhhh yeah! well at least i'm not a dumb dumb head??? my brother could beat up your brother???? is he really your brother, or maybe your dad, or both. uncle maybe all this in fear that the BIG RED will be back
  15. And I will always take whoever is playing MIZWHO so GO HOGS
  16. What are you doing with my wife? maybe they are all like that
  17. Misty's on Havelock the night before the game is a must. There is a one square block parking lot that I believe is between P & O and 10th & 11th that is great to park and tailgate on game day. I may be wrong if so I'd appreciate it if one of the board members who lives in Lincoln would correct me. Lots of good places to watch the game in Downtown Lincoln. The Nebraska Bookstore is a must stop. See you in Lincoln. >>>T_O_B In good weather, people bring lawn chairs to the north-east corner of the stadium, and watch on the big board. Ya get the real crowd noise, tailgaters, and some atmosphere. And in the second half, when Nebraska is down by 40, you can probably get in for free with a departing fan's ticket. Not next year
  18. I agree, I think by our new head coach, coaching in the NC it may help some of our boy's make up their minds.
