  1. Now that recruiting is over for this year, what is everyones take on a new depth chart? Since you know for sure who's coming and who's not. I'm predicting a slow period now on the boards so maybe the question will help some. Share please. Sals
  2. I'm sure that I'm not a Buff fan. I live in Denver and take photos for a magazine here in the city. I got the press credentials to that game like all the others to take photos of Colorado. It sucks having to watch them all the time but hey, press credentials to college games, I'm cool with that even if it is CU.
  3. Hey I thought that you all would like to take a look at my website, www.sals.smugmug.com. There are photos from the Nebraska/Colorado football game that I took. I realize I am a little late getting these put up since the game was in November but I've been busy. There is other stuff on the website sports, weddings, and more if you would like to check that out too, but I figure the Husker photos are mostly what you all want to see. Look, comment and enjoy. If there is a shot that any of you would like to buy from me just email me and we'll work something out. asalley24@aim.com Sals
  4. He is 6'7" 285 lbs. Could he play DT? He was one of if not the best D lineman we had last year. Do you think that with him next to Suh he could flourish? With Suh taking up a double team, I would bet he could win the 1 on 1 battles with the interior O lineman, especially if we had speed rushers on the outside, a slimmer Turner, and Yancy, Williams or whoever. Now I'm not saying put him there every down, but maybe on pass rushing downs. Us him like the Giants use Justin Tuck, in and outside, switch it up. What do you think? Sals Tuck is smaller by the way 6'5" 275.
  5. This guy, Yusuf Kuzu? On scout he lists Nebraska as high interest but we haven't offered. Is it possible that he could walk on or something? http://nebraska.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=...amp;nid=3249535 Or this guy, Gary Mason? He is listed as a medium interest. An OLB with good size. http://nebraska.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=...amp;nid=3049343 Anyone with more knowledge that me know anything? Thanks. Sals
  6. eddie brown is committed to nebraska. what are you talking about?
  7. in my opinion he would be a huge pick up. maybe give us a head start for his brother next year. come on alonzo. sals
  8. On rivals there is a teaser about him, and from the short bit that we "non payers" get to read it doesn't sounds to good? Whats the news?! http://nebraska.rivals.com/barrier_noentry...p;mid=&rid= Sals
  9. Yea I forgot, thanks for reminding me. WR run blocking is crucial to a good running game. Not just the hogmollies.
  10. Forgot to mention this, I also think the starters will depend on the team we are playing. If our game plan is to run, watch out for a Henry, Holt, Paul combination. They are big, physical, and strong who might run block better. Just a guess.
  11. So back to who we think will be the staring receivers next year. #1 Nate Swift #2 Niles Paul #3 Meilik (sp?) Holt I think we will see a lot of 3 WR sets. TE: I would like to see the staff put 8 pounds on Todd Peterson and play him here. Good hands and plays hard. But only as a slot TE much like the Colts use Dallas Clark. The top 2 reserves will be Henry and Gilleyen. Sals
  12. The O Line is stacked. I wouldn't be shocked if it looked like this: LT: Burkes 2nd LT: Marcel Jones LG: Huff 2nd LG: Keith Williams C: Hickman 2nd C: Henry or Mike Smith RG: Slauson 2nd RG: Cruz Barrett RT: Murtha 2nd Rt: DJ Jones Sals
  13. http://nebraska.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=719435 This in an interesting read. Thought you all might like it. Toailoa made the 3* all american team in this guys eyes.
  14. good i'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks he needs to drop it. Now what if Potter put on 5 pounds or so and played inside a little more. I'm not saying make him a DT, but leave him as an end but drop him down every now and then, passing downs or something? I think he would be to quick for the guards.
  15. Will he drop that 20 pounds that Cally and Co. had him put on? I hope Pelini makes him. He was so much more effective when he was 255. With him, Allen, and Potter I think out end position is looking pretty good. Thoughts? Sals
  16. Since I heard that Domicone commited to OSU I was wondering how this weekend was going so far? Are the recruits liking what they see? Are there any indications on who may pledge their verbal or keep there verbal? I realize it might be to early to tell and might have to wait until tomorrow or Monday. But I thought I would ask. Sals
  17. Well even if they move asante or culbert over to lb, we would still need more depth. right now we are a lot deeper and rb that lb, and helu might have a better shot at seeing PT if he goes to defense...especially with okafor coming in and possible lamichael james./
  18. Or keep him at 210 and replace Asante at S? Just something i was thinkg about.
  19. What about Roy Helu moving over to LB? I remember when he was being recruited it was mentioned on either these message boards or another one? 6'0" 210...put 10 pounds on him and I would imagine he could still run a 4.5-4.6...what do you think?
  20. With our lack of depth for next year at linebacker, do you see Roy Helu possibly moving over to a LB position? I remember when he was being recruited it was mentioned a couple times? Any guesses?
  21. Espn has him as not only a commit, but as a signed JC commit. Anyone heard of him, or his commitment? Here's the link: http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/...ol?schoolId=158
  22. i agree that castille is a monster, i was on the sideline for ths CU game, and standing by the Huskers bench for most of the game. I'm 6'2" 280 and when he walked past me a couple times i was amazed.
  23. If it is the guy from Florida, is he really that good as a coach? When was the last time Florida had a good running back?
  24. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3130463 here is the link....gill and pelini if you believe this.....or http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3131855 here is a different espn link....gill and grobe if you believe this one...this later one was update 2 hours before the first one...so who knows. and now that it's being reported that grobe is at arkansas who knows?
  25. what does anyone think the chances are that we could get both pelini and gill? bo as HC and gill and OC/assistant HC? gill loves nebraska but would he make the lateral move? i consider nebraska's OC position just as good as buffalo's HC position if not better.
