  1. Actually Bolden isn't really a proven to be a runner, but i'm sure if they try it against our D he will be. But i doubt we will see much of him. Joepa w/ a week off will put in a new wrinkle for sure. They will run up the middle A LOT but i am thinking they will get Smith (the fastest guy on the field) in some misdirection screens/reverses and i wouldn't be shocked to see him in a wildcat situation. Their D is solid, though NW did seem to move the ball on them pretty good. They seemed to have troubles w/ a running QB that can pass. If Tmart can throw might have some success but State Penn thrives on take aways, really have to protect the ball. Also the one DT is GOOD, the only flaw i see in him is lack of hustle on every play. He seems to take plays off. If we can do a more upbeat O (i guess like we do) then that could pop open a few plays up the middle.
  2. Lots of bars downtown, its a party school so it will be a good time Friday night. I would be careful wearing Husker gear as well. In 02 it was BAD, i work in State College and was treated real bad. You also shouldn't have a problem finding Tailgates since they party and tailgate hard over here. Just have thick skin and try not to mouth off hahaha Have fun and GBR
  3. I'll go with PSU. They are pretty tough against the run and are good up front. They did lose a LB for the year but should still be very strong stopping the run. They have the same issues as OSU w/ having problems on O but if we struggle this weekend I would expect big problems at Happy Valley.
  4. Suh got the #1 spot
  5. Didn’t see this posted but for all of you that have the BTN they do shows about the best of. Last week they did the best QB’s of the 2000’s and Crouch was #2. Tonight they are doing best D lineman of the 2000’s
  6. I hate to say it, but Penn St is going to have a good team next year. Add that to Happy Valley being a very tough place to play, It’s not going to be easy. I’ve been a Husker fan living in Penn St land for over 25 years and I’ll be at this game I just hope it goes better than the last time ugh
  7. welcome jmz! I work in State College but am one of the few Husker fans around here. I get a lot of crap lol. Can't wait to see the Huskers again over here
  8. I have dishnetwork and should have it on ESPN since i'm in Penn State country but since i have dish it's blacked out. I just tried to set the DVR but it said it was blacked out in my area. Same crap happend for the VT game.
  9. I live in a town outside of Altoona, I didn't see that in the paper but its good to see another Husker fan in my area. PSU fans HATE us
  10. I know what you are saying, I'm 33 and never got many games back in the day. So far this year ive seen them all. But ive paid for 4 of the 6 BUT it is so much better than having to watch big 10
  11. I wanted to vote for Good luck. One a customer. But was not able to. only you can know
  12. You might be right, but I am most worried about the VT defense even though they don’t look very tough on paper. It will be the toughest D we have faced and might even be the toughest till we get to Oklahoma. If they get lots of pressure on Ganz and he makes bad decisions we could be in for a long one. Lets hope for a good game and a Husker win GBR
  13. AFAIK, all the ABC/ESPN games can be found on gameplan. I'm not sure about this season, but previous years you could order whichever gameplan channel the game was on for $10 and you get that channel for the entire day. Here's the link. Only this weekend's games are listed right now. Appears you have to order the entire weekend lineup for $22. Thanks, hopefully I can get it. GBR
  14. I wonder if it will be on Game Plan and if so can you oder just one week or one game?
  15. Great I get stuck w/ Penn State vs Ill
  16. I live in PA and have Dishnetwork. I went ahead on my program and they have the game on which is awesome. The problem is it says it starts at 5:00 and ends at 9:30, What time does it start?
  17. The old 94 who would win question. I live in Penn State or should I say State Penn country, and I have had this debate over 5,000 times. In fact I had it again just last week. With out drinking Big Red Kool-Aid I still say Nebraska would have won, and I base it on defense. I can agree that PSU had a great offense and pretty much hard to stop, but the Nebraska defense would have been the biggest challenge they would have met and I truly feel they would have been contained. Then turn it to the PSU defense which was questionable at best vs the Husker offense that was very good. Could have been one of the best games ever but in the end I feel the right team got the ring. Neb- 31 PSU 24 GBR
  18. At PSU for the white outs they have had it printed on the tickets to wear white. The white out started because of "the red". They said that they are having a white out to white out the red when Huskers came to town. I am just an outsider fan and love seeing the sea of red. I say stick w/ the red and keep the tradition of a great school and great fans GO BIG RED!!
