  1. S&L is probably just a member of the Calliban, but he could also be a Pedeyphile.
  2. First you try to steal Nu recruits and now their fans? Is there nothing Colorado wouldn't stoop to? I'll pass, I think Florida St needs a little support We would steal your women, but then we saw some pics, nevermid............lol Just shows that Buff fans have very low standards.
  3. IMO, that would prove to those that are members of the Calliban and also Pedyphiles that those two need to be gone. Now don't get me wrong, the one thing I'm glad that bill did show during his time here is that it is possible to pass the ball despite of the weather. On a pseudo-related tangent, hopefully the past four years will bring in players that aren't afraid to play in cold weather. I'm sick and tired of hearing that certain skill players don't want to come to Nebraska because of the weather. God forbid that the top QB, WR, RB etc. that comes from a warm weather state doesn't want to play at Nebraska just because of the weather and than end up getting drafted by Buffalo, New England, Pittsburgh etc etc. because if they want to get paid, they have to realize that they are more than likely going to have to play in crappy weather.
  4. ¡Feliz Navidad y próspero año nuevo!
  5. Just remember to thank Santa Callahan and the Pedey that stole Christmas for this.
  6. Danny Woodhead???? Are you serious? Nothing against him, but let's be real. We are talking about the Greatest Players of All Time. Woodhead is a very, very good player. But there is no way he can be considered with the likes of H. Walker, Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, Reggie Bush, etc. Reggie Bush is proving this year that Houston made the right decision in not drafting him with the first pick. IMO, Bush was nothing more the a complementary back and White was the real work horse of that USC offense.
  7. I can't remember the year or opponent, but wasn't there a season when Jarvis showed the defense on one of his TD runs who he thought was "number one"?
  8. I nominate Ron Dayne, RB, Wisconsin, 96-99. NCAA career rushing leader, 6397 yards (Div 1, FBS) 1863 as a freshmen 1421 as a sophomore 1325 as a junior 1824 as a senior Winner of the 1999 Maxwell and Heisman. 2 time Rose Bowl MVP.
  9. Hey, I'm sorry. I can't imagine having a daughter starting college with the way college guys are. I remember when I was in college, I usually had just one thing on my mind. Good luck with that. Seriously. Yeah I know what you mean, all I ever thought about was studying also. GBR!!! I knew I saw you and Wally before, Revenge of the Nerds.
  10. IMO, Oregon would have had a better chance of playing for the MNC if Dixon didn't get hurt.
  11. One other thing that I would like to see is that when the Tunnel Walk starts, red smoke comes out of the uprights.
  12. we would have to do it right. none of this "lets all wear black shirts on gameday." lets do it how other teams do it, place a shirt on EVERY seat in the stadium. i assume thats how tennessee achieves their "checkered out" effect. btw, i LOVED the all white jerseys against colorado. I agree they just need to buy some cheap shirts and hand them out as people come in. It would be great and very intimidating for the other team. What I would like to see for a "B******" is instead of shirts, hand out black towels with the picture below on it and have the crowd wave them when the defense is on the field.
  13. http://www2.ncaa.org/portal/academics_and_..._penalties.html Football Bowl Subdivision Football In Football Bowl Subdivision football, teams may provide scholarships to not more than 85 student-athletes, with up to 25 scholarships awarded to incoming student-athletes (e.g., freshmen, transfers, first-time aid recipients). For Football Bowl Subdivision teams subject to immediate scholarship penalties, the first three penalized scholarships will be charged against both the initial-counter and overall team-counter limits, with remaining penalties (if applicable) countable against the overall team maximum. Example: At the conclusion of the 2006-07 academic year, the team’s NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) was still below 925, even with the squad-size adjustment. Six student-athletes left the institution and were not academically eligible; therefore, the team was subject to six scholarship penalties. The team deducted the first three scholarships from the number reserved for incoming student-athletes (25-3=22) and from the overall maximum allowed (85-3=82). It then took the remaining three scholarship penalties from the overall limit (82-3=79). Therefore, the football team could award not more than 22 scholarships to initial counters (i.e., to incoming student-athletes) and not more than 79 overall.
  14. Seems to me that when the ladies got beat in Austin, they just didn't seem the same. At least in the games that I was able to watch or listen to.
  15. Already have that one. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing that one, but I was hoping for some from this year.

  18. Money grabber... Am not! I'm a lawyer! Damn - another bad example. Never mind...
  19. Good. I hope that he can find a person to permanently fill that job that will make the Husker Nation proud and united.
  20. Unless this team pulls it together, the only bowl they'll be looking forward to is the chips and dip.
