Nebraska's hospital contained Ebola. Texas's didn't. Classic Texas.

If you decide one time that you don't need to follow the protocol exactly, your chance for getting it as a healthcare worker goes from basically zero to pretty high. The protocols are there to prevent infection, and they work, but they are very involved it's certainly not unheard of for steps to be skipped. Now, third world healthcare workers do not have nearly the same things to work with as we do, hence they are at far, far more risk of infection.

It is relatively difficult to contract when compared to the flu, but not so difficult if you have extended, close contact with a very sick person. Like healthcare workers do. Somewhere a protocol was ignored and that's how the worker was infected. My guess would be it was in removing the contaminated gown/gloves/mask, etc. It's a specific order and it's not terribly easy to do.

We've done well recruiting OL the last 2-3 classes, we need a big time QB that can run when he needs to and can read defenses and make smart plays

So, Wisconsin either Wisconsin is not good OR Northwestern is better than we think. Not sure which.

I think a lot of this comes down to AP being punished like that as a kid and so he continued that and since he isnt married to his childs mother, she disagreed with this and wasnt there to see. As a Vikings fan, my natural tendency is to come to AP's defense, but with all the Rice stuff, i am holding all judgement till i see the facts. If they point to AP being too aggressive to his child, i fully support any punishment put down on him. But sadly because of the Rice situation(which is ver...

As a teacher, I am really beginning to hate technology. My students are way too addicted to their cell phones and iPads(which the district has provided for them) If you are a parent, please educate your kids to try to learn something in school and put down their technology for a little while.

Politics would probably be the best place. Make a long post, describe the situation and your thoughts on it. Include what restrictions are placed on the ipads, both in class and systemically through the IT guy, etc. I'd like to get the whole picture, because every school is different with these situations.

It doesn't need to stop, because it's a real problem. A great many teachers are completely unable to teach in a manner that has any attempt at holding kids' interest. Sometimes it is the teacher, sometimes it is the system the school admins have in place, many times both. So it doesn't need to stop, it's a real problem. But that doesn't negate the fact that there is another side to the problem - parenting.

I love the Big Ten, you guys.

Really no need to panic guys. We're going to win this game and next week will be a new week.

What is the weather forecast for tomorrow's game?

Your Husker plans this weekend with the 11am start...what are they?

seriously TAMU got 2 #1 votes from AP guys. C'mon...that's just a little excessive.

I hope that rule about spiking the ball with under 3 seconds on the clock doesn't come around to bite us this season. It's a rule we obviously weren't familiar with.

I fully understand people being cautiously optimistic and maybe even still doubtful but, you guys, that was a different feeling today than the recent past. Weak FAU or not, we had our sh#t together. I liked it, a lot.

Overall, we looked better and sharper than we have for a long time. You don't put 700 yards up in 3 quarters, no matter who you're playing, unless you've got a working machine. Defense also showed promise. My feeling is this team will be more consistent than any we've seen recently, and that's a huge step forward no matter what.

"Pizza Ranch is a Christian company, looking to improve the world we live in". With pizza, you guys.

I don't care who you're playing, 700 offensive yards in 3 quarters is insane.
