  1. Kansas is a scary team, no doubt. But with their South schedule this year, I like our chances. Texas and OU are almost garuntee losses for just about anyone, and throw in TxTech on the road, and you've got yourself one difficult schedule. Tech wont be nearly as good as they were last year, thats for sure. But Kansas isn't a great road team (IMO). And I agree with Bear, looking in without my bias-glasses on, both teams have question marks, both could be great or not-so-great, so in the end we could go on with this all day and not get anywhere.
  2. Been a while since I have been in football-mode, with basketball still going on.. But here is mine NU - I believe everything starts at OLine and DLine. Suh will be Reesings nightmare. KU - Kansas has a good team, solid QB and WR. MU - Missouri lost alot from last year, but still a solid team CU - CU wont be great, but wont be that incredibly bad ISU - Because I like Cy KSU - Because I dont like Snyder
  3. Sad. Truly sad. Has NU baseball EVER been this bad? The MA supporters are dwindling down. I read somewhere that Mike was just given a 4 year extention before this year, so with that I say keep him around for 1 more year and see what happens. If its this bad again then hes gone.
  4. Yeah. That was the turning point. I was at the game(s). Everything was pretty good until then, and we would have gotten out of it with just the 4-4 tie. Us Husker fans were hackling the ump for a good 5 mins while Anderson was out arguing, and the ump turned to us and mouthed "blah blah blah". Up until that point, I liked our chances. It was only fitting to see the next batter come up and score 2 more runs.
  5. Funny because we dont play OU next year.
  6. WOOOT! JUST MADE MY MONDAY A HELLOFALOT BETTER. SSSSSUUUUUUHHHHHHH
  7. So will there continue to be a free video link on huskers.com? I missed the first two rounds I would like to see them from here on out to see how they do. Does anyone know if they will continue to have free video on huskers.com?
  8. Bo isn't going anywhere, at least not this soon IMO. I really dont see the OSU HC spot opening. Tressle would have to get fired (not going to happen) or retire or something (also not going to happen)
  9. Well, I dont know if anyone really cares, or if I can offer any point of view that no one else has seen... But here goes.. I thought we did good this season. Early on, we saw some offensive problems and our coaches made adjustments and fixed the problem, which is someting I like to see. I remember in 2004 when early on obviously the running game was doing really good, but our former coaches just refused to adjust, and we went on to lose 6 games. Another example of adjustments... Bo came wanting/expecting to win and I dont think he was quite prepared to the fact that this is Cally players, not LSU players. Players make mistakes, and in our case they made alot of mistakes. Bo lost his temper so much, and then when he realized this was a mistake, he adjusted his attitude and stopped getting so PO'd. This season was full of ups and downs. I am not someone who will say 'well if we had done this or that...' But, lets be clear here.. If not for 2 Ganz late game picks, we're 10-2 getting ready to play in the CCG with a chance at Fiesta bowl. Step back for a second and think about that, really think about it. Remember how bad we were last year? Look how far we have gotten in just one year. I see lots of things in this team and this coaching staff that make me excited for next year and many more years after that. Win or loss in the gator bowl, I think Bo is the guy for the job. We will just need to wait and see, can he recruit very well? This isn't something I would measure based on the scout.com or rivals.com ratings, this is something we will be able to tell when we see the players on the field. I am excited. I hope you are too.
  10. Really? I seem to remember in 05, we put 18 offensive points on Maine. Then, the next week, we put 10 offensive points on Wake Forest. The week after that, we put 7 points on Pittsburgh. The week after that, we put 13 on ISU in regulation (2 more touchdowns in OT). Yeah, in 06 we put 50 on some people. Lousiana State, Nicholls State and a few others. Callys offense didnt do good against any top teams. Bo's (?) offense put 28 on Oklahoma. 45 on Kansas. And for those of you who say Kansas isn't all that great.... In 05, we put a whole 15 on Kansas. In 06, with OT, we put a whole 39 on em. We put 39 on em last year too. The most points a Cally NU team put up in a year was 401. Bo's boys so far have put up 434, in the same number of games. Keep in mind, 401 is the most of any Cally year. This is Bo's first year.
  11. Wow. I guess they saw Nebraskas offense and liked it.. hahahahaha! Well, when you can only score 7 on Wyoming then I guess anythings an improvement. I feel bad for Tenn.
  12. Ew no. I hate the all whites. I spend the whole game thinking of how dumb we look rather then thinking about the game. No all-whites plas.
  13. I was explaining to my uncle that we were down by 1, in field goal range and all we had to do was run clock. Then Joe got sacked. I put my hands on my head and said "NOOO" over and over. Then we took a timeout. I said to my uncle, we are blowing this game with every second that passes by. Then, Henery comes out for the kick. I didn't know what to think. I thought, maybe its going to be a fake. When the camera showed the kick first going up, it looked way wide right. I was like CRAP CRAP then, it looked like it might have went in and it might not have. That time it took for the freakin refs to throw up their arms seemed like forever. What a great game. This game really reminds me of the 04 NU - CU game. In 04, the game was clearly dominated by CU, but the final score showed a close game. Fast forward, take away the first 3 mins of this game and we win 40-17.

    KU Over MU

Wow.. Really? Lol. KU fans really do, honest to God, crack me up. Have you simply forgot getting destroyed by Texas at home, and losing to Nebraska (Who? Oh yeah, that lowly team with the first year head coach, 76-39 blah blah). You guys get lucky, and injur Maclin on the drive before last, which is the only reason that MU didn't score on that last drive.. Look. Im not saying that Nebraska will win the north. Im just saying, that NU AND KU have a little ways to go. Missouri will probably win the north next year. We will see how it goes, buddy.
  15. Thanks. Good luck next season.

  17. Beat Kansas 3-0 woot woot. Lots of NU fans there good to see. Number 10 is pretty good, i didn't catch her name.
  18. I finally get to see these ladies play. I guess they are pretty good?
  19. I dont know anything about college band, but I am in high school.. And when we play at a game and another band is there, our field conductors have I guess some sort of way to communicate with the other field conductors, to figure out who plays on what timeout and such. I guess they dont do that, or, maybe KUs band has no class....
  20. To be honest, I think the team can play much better then that. If you come out flat, thats whats going to happen. If we come out like that vs Mizzou.. Or.. even worse.. OU...... 70-10 all over again, folks. Guys.. I think if we come out excited and fired up then we could have won that game 50-10. This isn't a bad team. I am not concerned. Actually, I think its a good thing that Saturday happened. It was a sort of wake up call for the team and the staff. (I am happy with this "wake up call" as long as its not a loss) Or maybe I have just had slightly too much kool aid.
  21. How is San Jose State keeping with us? Whats the deal here? I have a hard time believing we are THIS bad. I think the team will wake up for VaTech, with that said... we aren't good enough to win at OU, vs Mizzou etc. But we are better then this, guys.
