Hey, according to the current rules of the game both those hits should have been flagged. But neither of them were blatant. Meredith ran a twist and Gabbert stepped up in the pocket and BANG. Osbourne's hit was a case of a offensive player dropping his head as he gets tackled. Anyone who's ever played this game knows things happen quickly and once you start your momentum you cant stop it.

Now, we have to be careful to guard against us getting to up over this win. We still need to go to Ames next week.

I would have to see more consistency out of this team before I start drinking the kool aid again.

I'm with you, and it is also very frustrating watching Watson try to emphasize Martinez. It's like watching Solich call option after option with Crouch. This O-line can block as good as any in the county when it comes to down hill blocking. Mizzou couldn't stop it all day.

Those DB's are amazing. When the only chance you have at completing a pass is either by a perfert pass or by a miracle catch says alot. Hat's off to the mizzou recievers as well because those guys can make plays.

It's not like our QB was injured or anything. Sorry we can't score 24 points every quarter. Does any game, in which we don't score 96 points, upset you? Your clueless, it's not the score. It's called maintaining the execution, fundamentals, and intensity for 4 qtrs.

I'm still in shock over that. Blatant fumble. Cunningham, unbelievably, starts in again with his "this is what we're trying to remove from the game" horsesh&*, meanwhile, we score a defensive touchdown. A flat out defensive touchdown. No review. (Of course we could only have gained possesion through a review and not the 6 points that we had, in fact, earned, but possession nonetheless.) And no mention of fumble by either broadcaster. Un....real. Oh well. They still couldn't take it from us, could they? GBR!!!!!! The broadcasters mentioned that it looked like fumble and it was not reviewed b/c the play was blown dead on the field. You cannot call a fumble on a review just like you can't call a face-mask. How is a play blown dead before or during a QB sack???? It was blown dead (maybe "dead" is not the right word, it was whistled that the play was over) after the sack. They didn't call the fumble on the field so you can't call it on review. Yea after the sack the play is over, but the fumble came while he was still going down. There is no explanation that is valid to uphold your opinion or the Texass football conference referees or both officials. That was a fumble. But it doesn't really matter now
