  1. Here's what I would like: B1G Championship, OR Top 10 finish AND Orange, Fiesta, Cotton or Chick-Fil-A bowl win Here are some more specific things I'd like to see, which will help lead to those primarily goals: Finish in the top 50 in penalty yards per game (first time in Bo's career) Win 11 games (first time in Bo's career) Finish in the top 50 in turnover margin (second time in Bo's career) Don't lose to anyone you're favored to beat by more than 5 points (second time in Bo's career) Don't lose to anyone by 14 points or more (second time in Bo's career)
  2. What really rustles my jimmies is how you Instagram/Tweeter people ran Callahan out of town after four years. HELLO! IT TOOK DR TOM 22 YEARS to win the title. AT LEAST GIVE CALLAHAN 20. And yall think your better cuz you use line breaks and such, well guess what IN MY DAY THEY DIDNT HAVE LINE BREAKS! We walked uphill to school both ways, gave it to our wives hard and RAN THROUGH BRICK WALLS. So be happy with 9 wins or go root for an $EC team of thugs and felons.
  3. I wasn't there, but according to the story, he had 22 drinks and then got into a "fight" with a guy 100 pounds lighter than him, slammed the guy's head into a wall then knocked him unconscious by slamming him into a parking kiosk. Not quite your average "two guys rolling around on the bar floor" story.
  4. Football in the last three years is about 3.3 points, which is slightly below the national average. I haven't seen the hoops numbers but I suspect with the new arena and excitement, it has the edge.
  5. Well. When you COMMITT to something and then back out of it, it usually says something about your character. It's called "COMMITTING" for a reason. I hear ya, bro. Unless they were previously COMMITTED to another school then they decide to come to NEBRASKA. Then it's just bein FRICKEN smart!
  6. Yeah, I was one of them. The majority seemed quite confident in his tweet that he was golden. Regardless, it's always funny how decommits suddenly become horrible people who will fail at life.
  7. Academic issues when committed to NU: He should be fine, the classes are easy and he seems confident. Academic issues when committed to KSU: What an idiot, he'll never make it on campus anyway. No work ethic prima donna who will end up working at Hardee's.
  8. Green pants, yellow tops. I like where your head's at.
  9. This class just officially became a joke. #process #boom
  10. Just watched the video. Definitely yelled something at McCoy. Pretty low, but oh well. He's a Longhorn now.
  11. The nine win streak is nice. It makes for a good trivia question and maybe a reasonable bragging point if you're cubicle neighbors with an Iowa or Missouri fan. But to shout the fact that it groups us with Bama and Oregon and then be like... ...is pretty silly. I mean, just look at winning percentage alone. Then consider significant accomplishments, like conference championships, BCS bowl appearances, top 10 finishes, etc. Alabama and Oregon have lots in that span. We have none. But yeah, if you work next to an Iowa fan, go ahead and run with it
  12. People keep using Oregon and Bama in the same sentence! I just don't get it. They've had some success but IMO they are nowhere near the same caliber as Alabama. Ask the powers that be at Oregon if they would trade their last decade of success for 5 national titles and 3 heisman trophies in their trophy case. They're not, but to discredit their run is pretty ill-advised. Yeah my point wasn't to discredit anything Oregon has done but I get irritated that they get put on the same level as Bama in conversations. Do we want to be where Oregon is or where Bama is because the two aren't even close IMO. A lot of husker fans would take either but when you can only choose one, the answer is obvious. Oh and our problem is that we've been where Bama is and Oregon is where Kstate was in the 90s. I don't think the point is that Alabama and Oregon are equal. I don't see anywhere that's been claimed. The point is, both are significantly better programs than Nebraska, now and over the last six years overall.
  13. I agree. We are in the process of trying to flip a couple of kids right now too. What does that say about THEIR character if they switch to NU? They have God on their side.
  14. Do you can him or let him stay around?
