Enough with all this 'we need to protect the regular season' crap. I've had it with that. There needs to be at least a 16 team playoff system. Forget all these damn bowl games. The bowl system stinks. There is so much more money to be made for the Universities in a playoff system. Losing one game during the regular season shouldn't prevent you from being able to be a national champion. If people are insistent on keeping the bowl games, then fine, keep the top big bowls that teams that don't get in to the playoff can go to. I would have no problem with that. A playoff system would make the post season much more exciting. Better matchups than the vast majority of bowl games. I never watch any regular season FCS games but I watch as many playoff games as I can each year even though I know nothing about any of the teams because it's so great! Everybody needs to get their heads out of their asses, especially the conference commissioners and University presidents.

Those are just overnight numbers and will more than likely go up a little. That's still well over 20 million people that watched the game. Pretty decent if you ask me.

Nebraska does have an open date September 22, that they need to fill an opponent with. Texas A&M also has an open date that week, too. Let's make it happen at Cowboys Stadium. Would love to play A&M there.

I actually believe Sherman was a good college coach. He had really good teams at A&M, but they just couldn't finish games. A&M had at least 3 or 4 games this year where they should have won but they came out of halftime and looked really flat in the second half.

Get rid of the system entirely. We need a playoff system. Have the games at the sites of the schools playing the games. Tired of this crappy bowl system and BCS. Get rid of it.

I don't care where they go but I do enjoy watching. They do a really good job every week in my opinion.

Think they are just trying to go to new places. I have no problem with them going to Houston. Get the smaller conference schools some attention.

This. The offense didn't help any by all the fumbles we lost and the defense struggled. Even if they did steal signals we still could have won the game if the defense would have played better.

I don't mind 11:00 am games at all. But what's bad for the conference is having 5 conference games at noon eastern time on November 19 and 1 conference game on at 3:30 ET. By the time the evening games are played in other conferences everyone has forgotten about all the B1G games. I just don't understand the logic the conference has of wanting all these early games. Mix it up some. Have 2 at noon, 2 at 3:30 and 2 at night or some other combination where the conference gets the biggest or the 2 biggest games of the day on at 3:30 and one at night. This is what worries me about being the in B1G. It becomes pretty irrelevant during November. Hopefully this changes very soon.

There will be no more night games in the Big Ten this season. All night games must be selected by ABC/ESPN/BTN before the season starts. Remaining games will be at either 11:00 or 2:30.

Exactly what I was thinking. It's better when Nebraska plays at either 11:00 or 2:30 so I can take my girl out on Saturday nights.

It's not the time. It's the fact it's on the Big Ten Network. Our game against Minnesota was on ABC. Are they saying Northwestern isn't a good enough of an opponent for national coverage, but Minnesota is? I don't get it. ABC selected the Minnesota game before the season started. At least one of our conference games has to be on BTN. This is the only game left that makes sense for ABC/ESPN to let slide to BTN. Penn State and Michigan are going to be big games that need to be on ABC or ESPN and Iowa is already on ABC. Also, there is nothing wrong with BTN. They do are great job covering the game and the picture quality is usually very well.

It will be either at 11:00 or 2:30. B1G requires their TV partners to select all night games before the season starts. I would imagine it will be at 2:30 on ABC.

The Big 10 plays alot of 11:00 A.M games. My boss is a OSU fan an has always complained about the early starts. I don't mind one or two a year. It would make a huge difference if it started at noon central time instead of 11. It's only an hour but that would make it a lot better.

I don't mind the 11:00 a.m. kickoff. But, this is one thing I hate about the B1G. Not the early kickoffs but that they make ABC/ESPN/BTN select all the night games before the season starts. That just doesn't make sense to me. This game should be played at night over the Wisconsin/tOSU game Saturday. I just can't stand the B1G's tv selection crap they enforce. And also no night games in November?!?! We have huge games with Penn State and Michigan and they also might end up at 11:00 a.m. starts. Yuck.

If you are in Omaha then you will see the game on ABC. The guide is most likely mislabeled.

No. The game will be on either ABC or ESPN2 in everyone's area.

If you aren't getting the game on ABC then you need to DVR channel 209 (ESPN2).
