Agreed. It really would be a shame if he went somewhere else. You're gonna be sad to lose him to Butler, Coffeyville or some other JUCO? Kid has incredible talent, but he absolutely has to hit the books. With Kildow tearing his ACL he is set up to potentially have a very big year. BW is spot on with the academics. If he can turn that around and qualify he may well find himself a coveted recruit.

I would agree with those targets. I would really have liked to get Jarvis Giles (I think he will be a monster in college) but I certainly would be ecstatic if we pulled all three of those guys. GBR!!!

Wes Welker. Tim Marlowe of the 2008 class comes to mind. It shows that Coach Pelini isn't too worried about just size. If you get a chance to watch Kildow play this season you will see that he has incredible stop/cutback quickness in the open field. I've seen him make moves that reminded me of Marshall Faulk in his prime. He is so fast coming in and out of his breaks. He almost always seems to get separation. He almost single handedly beat Omaha Central last season in a huge come from behind victory, and we all know what kind of athletes Central had last year. He killed the Prater kids. He made them look slow. He may actually be a better baseball player than football. He was All Nebraska-All Class First Team as a sophomore. Maybe a two way player.

This kid's video is out of sight. He is quick and fast with great balance. Reggie Bush like in appearance. Would be a great get in my opinion.

I saw him play one game and thought he looked outstanding. Going into that game I didn't expect to be impressed because I knew we didn't offer him a scholarship, but he really convinced me he will be a good player.

Word is that this kid was blown away by his visit to Lincoln. One of the pay sites says he grew up a Husker fan, along with his dad. Sounds like we are the odds on favorites to land this kid it seems. Very good. I always love to pull kids out of the East and establish some sort of connection out there.

Ganz hasnt proven that he is better than Keller!! To say that Kellers dad and Cally made a deal for Sam to start is just dumb. What would Callahan gain from that? Ganz has to get better or he will be riding the bench again. You do not have to be cocky to have confidence. I would argue that cocky players fail more than they succeed. Cockiness is a character flaw. There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence. I think that Ganz has shown so far that he can be a good player. I also think that he gravitates more towards cocky than confident. JMHO

i thought the same thing, has been more athletes in the last few years(first i remember was kory stringer from the vikings) or has it just gotten more publicity, i mean if anyone was gonna die wouldn't it have been one of the junction boys? My heart goes out to his family.
