Peters probably picked Georgia Tech because it was closer to home than Nebraska and he had a better chance to start early than he did at Florida and LSU.
Bradley, Moore, and Carriker were all over the field the entire game. I can't wait to see them play in the NFL hopefully one of them will be on the Oakland Raiders.
I would love to see the Huskers get this kid but, it looks like he has norrowed his list down to Cal, Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Mississippi, and Oregon.
I think that one of the reasons why Bradley is moving up the draft board is that alot of teams that run the 3-4 like his size and that unlike most outside linebackers in the 3-4 defense he is not a conveted defensive end so he has experience covering running backs and tight ends.
Having Rich Gannon on the staff would be great. He had 4 straight pro bowl years and won the MVP when he played in the west coast offense under Callahan and would make a great coach and recruiter for quarterbacks.
I know that when you sign a letter of intent that you are supposed to show loyalty and stick around the entire time but, give the kid a break. Lucky considered leaving Nebraska because he was frustrated over the injury and losing Coach Blake who he had a close friendship with but, he talked to Callahan and is now the issue is over. He is committed to Nebraska and is working hard to prove that he is the best running back on the team and deserves to start.
When I watched the NFL Network today the coaches on the north squad seemed to be impressed with Carriker and said that if he continues to play at the level he has so far he may end up being a top 15-20 pick.
Since we have so many talented linebackers coming back next year and no starters on the D-line I wouldn't be surprised if we added some 3-4 defensive sets to put the best players on the field with Dillard and McKeon in the middle and Ruud and Octavain on the outside.
This is a great pickup for the Huskers. Buddy Wyatt has done a fantastic job of stepping in for Blake and picking up some great defensive lineman for Nebraska.
