  2. Pelini would be the one to make the decision.
  3. Some OU fan just plastered my car with Boomer Sooner posters. I hope we blast them tomorrow

GSG5545 don't forget he has to yell "ROADHOUSE!"

  4. CBSSports also has draft rankings. Personally I see: 1. Prince - top 5 2. Niles - round 3-4 (teams like his speed and build) 3. Allen - round 3-4 4. Helu - round 4-5 5. Hagg - round 4-5 (not sure where he projects) 6. McNeil - round 5-6 7. Gomes - round 5-6 (guy doesn't get much credit for some reason) 8. Henery - round 6-7 9. Henry - free agent pick up (pass blocking is a big question mark) 10. Lee - free agent
  5. This seems more appropriate than a flashing red hand: LINK
  6. He could be our Darren Sproles. Both are 5'7". LaMichael James?
  7. Show me one for under $400. In fact, show me one for under $800 brand new off the shelf.
  8. Aren't you kind of answering your own question? We have 3 upper classman who are every down DE's and one who projects as a pass rush specialist. All the others are RS freshman. There is little to no depth, unless you are really expecting one of the freshman to step up. Adding a JUCO with some experience adds to that depth and gives us an extra body to rotate. Tobi was small when he came in and Vestal projected more as a DT. That leaves Ashburn to go along with Ankrah, Williams and Meredith. Moving to the Big Ten, we should see a lot more down hill running and will need to rotate DL more.
  9. And Henery gets screwed yet again. Shame this guy doesn't get the recognition he deserves.
  10. Sorry, I didn't get the quote correct. What I was trying to do was show the quote "our offense has made a freshman quarterback a heisman canidate". What I was trying to say is that the player made the offense, not the other way around. Of course it matters who takes the snaps. It takes a certain type of athlete to run this offense and we have exactly one on the team. Cody Green is not the type of QB to run this offense as he just isn't that quick. Lee could and has run this offense somewhat effectively, however injuries have put a stop to his playing time. Say what you want, but Lee is quicker than Green and gets going a little faster. He also makes the reads and reacts quicker. The coaches now know what it takes to make this offense go and I think you're seeing it in the types of athletes we're recruiting at QB.
  11. IIRC, we were set up for an onside kick. Since they decided to squib down the field, the blocking was just not there. I think Marlowe saw this and decided instead of trying to fight through 9-10 tacklers and risk a turn over to just take a knee. We already had semi decent field position at the 25.
  12. Arkansas went to the SEC to move away from Texas. Why in the hell would they want to leave the SEC to join Texas again?
  13. Its a LED-LCD 120hz Samsung People I know who have the 240Hz refresh rate usually have it turned off. Personally I'd stick with the TV you have as you'd probably see little improvement. Also, if you're just looking to have the newest technology, at CES this year, manufacturers introduced LED TV's at 480 Hz.
  14. I was glad to see Zac get out there, but was disappointed they didn't let LaTravis have the final series.
  15. Saw this stat in an article. Has it really been that long?
  16. Will be playing my old highschool (Blue Valley) for a spot in the state championship game tonight.
  17. A lot of people are saying that the offense gave them nothing to cheer about. While I agree that the crowd celebrates when the players do something good I find my self wondering should the team be the ones picking the crowd up and making them cheer or should the crowd be the ones cheering picking the team up? I was at the game and something just seemed off. Late tail gaiters, bars relatively mild, etc. Lincoln as a whole seemed dead.
  18. How does Oklahoma St., with the #4 rusher in the nation, play into the strength of our defense, which is #63 in rush defense? I'm just happy that the Oklahoma St. OC pulled a Watson and went away from what was working last time we played. Yes, our pass defense is amazing, but our rush defense is porous.
  19. And exactly what has Niles done this season to prove he's worthy of getting those deep balls? How many have been thrown his way? Maybe 5 all year and most of those were bad throws by the QB. When your fastest WR has single coverage on the outside with no safety help, why not take a shot? Whether he catches it or not, the defense must account for it. KU and ISU stacked the box and we didn't at least try to take advantage of it.
  20. Only if they abandon the run game like they did the first we played them. We had NO answer for Hunter. For some reason, they refused to give him the ball in the second half.
  21. Kinda hard to have a big play WR when the offensive coordinator is afraid to attack down field. KU played Niles 1 on 1 with no safety help for a better part of the game and we refused to throw a couple deep balls.
