Please--you all have nothing on the Dallas Morning News/Belo Media down here (ABC). They're in the ******* Big XII, and they cut the feed to the Nebraska/Nevada game...and they were the reason the NU/NV game was blacked out for the Dallas-area on ESPN Gameplan. And to add insult to injury, Belo media owns the Dallas Morning News, one of the worst newspapers known to man. It's sports section is a festering pile of **** and it's College Sports writer is a former Whorn beat writer that can't count to ******* 12...or XII as it were. Oh, and they still insist that TexAss actually won the National Championship in 1970...but if you want to get under their skin, just ask a TexAss fan who they beat to get that NC, and watch the steam pour out their ignorant ears.

Folks--someone needs to get the room prefix for that hotel then, and then we can split up the room numbers and call. Or, we could be nice, respectful Nebraska fans, and just let our players pummel them on the field...

I believe...that some of those bloggers that predicted USC blowouts are ******* tools. Especially the TexAss Tech one. And I think we're gonna do well. Haven't had this feeling about a game since the NU/OU tilt in '01, if I remember correctly.

Nice, it would cool if they were F-22's. Yeah, they're going to supposedly do flyovers again, like they did last year for the TexAss game (if I remember correctly.)

I'll be that silly mad man, Sir. Once Texas gets exposed for whatever new cheating techniques they're using to get their way (bribing the Dallas office, refs, whatever), they're going to go back to their usual .500 club selves, and their fans will waste away in the hot TexAs sun. At that point, it's not going to seem crazy to have Nebraska, TexAs, and OU all in the same division, especially if you surround these teams with cream puffs, like Baylor, Iowa State, and Colorado.

Texas loses, and their subsequent riots save the Dallas City Council millions as the toilet known as the Cotton Bowl is ripped to shreds. @ Iowa St. Easy Win @ Baylor Easy Win vs. Nebraska so I see us coming into this game at 8-0. I think Texas loses 3-4 game in the regular season. To either Nebraska or to A&M at Kyle field... Fixed for 'ya. Ya'll are welcome.

Just called down to the Ticket Office in Austin to try and purchase tickets for the Nebraska @ Texas tilt, and what I got out of the ticket office was a little disconcerting. Per 'Operator 33', they are telling folks to plan on there not being any General Admission tickets for the season, especially the Big XII games, as they're using the GA seating to take care of season ticket holders displaced by the ongoing stadium renovations. While the final info will come out in July, this is what they're being instructed to tell folks now, and they're not going to sell new season ticket holder packages until the 2008 season to boot. In short--if you want to go to the Nebraska @ Texas game, get your plastic and first-born children ready, as you're bound to see a plethora of them on eBay going for premium prices. Just FYI...

I think the last time we had a respectable basketball team (outside the overachieving mediocrity of the Nee era) is right before WWII. All I know is that my Grandmother and Grandfather (God rest his soul) use to regularly go to games when they were good, and they stopped when they went downhill--that was a little after my Grandfather got back from the Pacific front of WWII.

Yes, but for different reasons. NU fans hate CU because many of their fans lack couth and decorum inside and out of the stadium and because they don't take pride in their program--they just hate others that have success. OU fans hate Texas because Texas fans try to present an air of superiority, despite having to cheat to win and helping to kill off a conference for those wins. Regardless, I've signed. We need to play Oklahoma each year--it makes Nebraska a better program for it, win or lose.

I think of the Orange bowl against Miami when Osborne went for the two point conversion. I'm pretty sure TO used the quote in "More than Winning". That book changed my whole perception of being a fan. Agreed. I was too young to remember and appreciate it back then...but now, I understand that what Dr. Osborne did took cojones the size of Mt. Rushmore to do. And sometimes, you have to have those same size of cojones just to do the right thing in our daily lives. Man, I wish I wasn't such an asshat when I was younger--I could had really stood to pay attention to the example Dr. Tom set earlier in my life.
