Are we actually content to take just 2 this year? In the Scout article on Calhoun, he says we are no longer recruiting him. It's probably the same for the other guys. I'm thinking the staff likes what it has seen out of the freshman and with some of the injuries is going to have those guys another year. That, the promising start to 2011, and need/success (WR/DE) at other positions may have sealed it. What you guys think?

Rome has said he realized he made a mistake the first time he committed so he took his time with this decision. Probably take something big to blow it with him.

Might look a lot like the Baylor game the way these 2 teams have been going.

Not too many teams don't lose a step when you replace your QB, top 2 WRs and top 2 of 3 RBs (with the other one playing with injuries only because we have nothing else behind him). And that's not even talking about the O Line.

Same thing with T. Pryor which might be why Tresel doesn't bother running it with him. Anyway, as mentioned, there is a forum for this.

Yep. LSU has been sniffing around him for awhile, but has yet to offer AFAIK.

And it's not like he's playing for Podunk high. His teammate Ronald Powell is 5 DE at the #1 player overall. Do the evaluators go to john when the offense is on the field? Anyway, he is their leading WR and 3rd in scoring behind their stud RB, Laron Jackson (1000 yards already) and the kicker (42 PATs!). That said they spread the ball around.

I figure at least 3 WRs. Keep in mind that the 2 we have committed have potential on the other side of the ball, so we could still have room for 2 or 3 more of the WR targets. (Of course it gets to be tough convincing guys to come in with 4 other WRs.)

Looking good. Tough WR but still can break some ankles and go the distance. Love that one of his highlights is blocking for a running play.
