  1. Joe Dailey has joined Turner Gill at Buffalo University as a Tight End coach
  2. Baylor has no drive and I think NU will get 2 in a row from them, and Self said he doesnt want to play NU so there is a possiblity but after I think NU will run out of gas, but they are capable of beating UT/KSUcks and if they make it to the finals, I think they have a shot but I highly highly doubt they make it
  3. I think the real battle will be for the second DT spot between the Peters and Neil Smith. But Glover has this spot
  4. " I think somebody has been sent to the University of Nebraska to sabotage us" Broderick Thomas Anyways this is I tough choice, I went Demorrio but I could probably go with Trev, Broderick, or Farley
  5. I am probably wrong but couldn't it be up to each individual player, just like wearing long sleeves, a visor, wrist bands and stuff. But it would look weird if only one player wore them.
  6. Or Iowa St, Or Oregon ST, Or IMBC, Or OU, OR about five other games NU almost won
  7. Huskers 66-62 Final NU made their free throws today and that was the difference. Huskers finish 8-8 in the Big 12 regular season, a great season compared to expectations at the beginning. Up next Baylor again, in the Big 12 tourney and any hope of making the big dance. They have to be a lock for the NIT now and maybe even a home game especially if they get another W
  8. Huskers up 55-52 with one minute left McCray has had a career game and Ade has only made two free goals. Edwards has had a ton of PT today also, I havent seen all of the game- but I havent seen Balhman. Hopefully NU can pull it off
  9. Having not really even seen too much star trek, the movie looks pretty sweet.
  10. "I will buy any shiny and is made by Apple" that was my fav part
  11. It was a great game. Great way for the seniors to go out. I think it probably sealed the NIT spot. But on a sad note (always one for NU b-ball) Niemann hurt his knee and has to have surgery
  12. as far as the recuirting goes, I think that the whole thing revolves around NU still beating them the majority of the time. So if the wins are going to make a difference NU would still have an edge. Sure it would still might benefit them for being better, but every kid is different, some may pick a crappy home state team over any other, some might go to the school that wins the most, maybe the weather matters, or maybe they want to play in a great conference and 85000 at every home game (hint...NU). Recuirting is about the right fit and relationships with coaches
  13. Heres the Link Maybe it is because it is not official is why he didnt mention names. And also I dont get how it is irresponsible, a source told him something and asked him not to say anything. Sipple wanted to share his insights on the situation which is what he is paid to do (granted not for the interview, but you get the point)
  14. College Humor is hilarious. I like their hardly working (filmed in the office using the makers of website) and their skits too. If you ever need a laugh I recommend going to their youtube or their website
  15. It could add to the tax funds. Anyways I can see both good and bad in legalizing weed, but I really dont want to get into them, because
  16. I dont know if this has been brought up, or if it should. But is it the off-season so... Steve Sipple on 1620 said that he expects/ heard a couple of more players to leave the program by next year. He said that one name might be surprising. He said it is not confirmed, but rumored inside the program. I would say start guessing, but that would get too crazy, so... ?
  17. remember, top 2 make the team
  18. I dont think he could be this, but it would be nice to have a Maclin/Harvin type guy
  19. I personally want everyone in the big 12 to be good, and makes NU look better win or lose. But I guarentee most fans dont want CU, MU, KSU, UT, OU to be good
  20. I hadnt heard about Ankrah, but Robinson is definetly a concern and Washington used to be but I thought he had it worked out. Like Robster I could be wrong
  21. no problem, I just wanted to make sure it wasnt just me. My internet connection sucks so I thought it might have been
  22. OK so I dont know if this will work, but the what are you listening/reading threads gave me the idea to start one for movies and tv show. You can mention new or old movies and maybe give your thoughts on it, maybe a one to five star ranking I will start: I just watched Rescue Dawn with Christian Bale. For me it seemed like it had to be complete BS even though it is based on a true story. The editing/switching scenes was really choppy and a little confusing. I have to give it . There was much action and it was Christian Bale walking around with another guy (from Saving Silverman, National Security, and other stupid comedy genere movies). I dont even know what type of movie watcher would like it, I guess drama but it wasn't that much drama( or what I think of drama) Anyways I think this thread could be fun and let others know about good/bad movies
  23. Was I the only one that kept on getting an IP problem all of Friday and Saturday? I could get on the homepage, but couldnt click on any links. Was I banned or something? Or was it just maintenance work or something wrong with the website?
  24. OK please tell me that I am not a sick freak to find these things funny from it: "I can do it with one finger, you can do it with one hand, your kids can slap it" "We're going to make America skinning again, one slap at a time" "It comes with a cover" so you dont leak any out "The skin can come of of it" "You're going to slap away everyday" one lady "it is very quick, a time saver" Does anyone else think he could have been talking something else
  25. So what I think you are getting at is that a freshman QB cannot win? To that I say- Terell Pryor, Tim Tebow (granted he was a scenario guy), Colt McCoy, Robert Griffin (at fricken Baylor), Matthew Staford, Chris Leak, Mitch Mustain, and Chad Henne. I think NU has enough talent (running game and defense) that Green, if he has good as everyone thinks, could start and win. i dont see why everyone thinks he is gonna be all that good. yeah he looked good in HS, but he hasnt done anything in college. Lee was very good in JUCO and was actually a 5.9 rated 4 star qb when he got to lincoln, whereas Green was a 5.8 rated 4 star. Green seems like maybe just "the next big thing?" as someone else has said, greens only real advantage is in his size as lee is also listed as faster. if you want a qb that is good at both passing and running then right now, lee is your guy. Also, it can be said that throwing a freshman into the fire too soon can permanently damage his confidence if he doesnt win right away. So you think that Tebow, Pryor, McCoy (whom did not start as a true freshman), and Griffin can win as freshmen, so why cant green? To that i say- For every Pryor or Griffin, etc. you have a freeman or any of the countless other 4 star qbs that never lived up to hype or never even started a game..... yes, i am sure that we have enough talent to win with green at qb but the question is,"will we win more games with lee or green starting?" answer: Lee What has Lee done in college? Led one touchdown drive. And as for Freeman I am pretty sure NU has more talent than K-State had, not quite as much as the other guys (except Griffin) but still NU and K-state are on a different level. And recuirting ratings as mentioned a thousand times before dont always determine who is good or not. And btw JUCO competition is a lot of times not even that good, and comparable to Texas high school football. JUCO's usually dont have that good of tape to rate players on, not saying that this is the case but Jeremy Crabtree has warned about these things before. I am not saying Lee is not capable because most likely he will start next year, but I think NU would benefit with having a four year guy in there, if he is capable- which from what I have heard he is. City College of San Francisco plays some of the best JUCO ball in the country. The competition Lee faced there was dramatically superior to Texas 4A. Any argument to the contrary is misguided. I didnt know, I know the Jayhawk league is good, and NU has had a few from San Fran before so it must be okay, but I just brought up the juco point as a general statement
