This is an easy reductionistic history that isn't all that accurate imo. What happened in 2007 was...an anomaly, and as much psychological as anything else. Cosgrove's defenses in 2005 and 2006 were pretty salty. In fact, we would have been Big XII champs in 2006 if the offense would have shown up when it mattered most. Texas loss - bad luck fumble gave them the ball at the end to win it Okie State loss - offense floundered and turned the ball over a bunch Oklahoma loss - threw it 50 times with 4 picks en route to 7 total points Auburn loss - 14 total points Defense gave up 28, 22, 39, 21, and 17 to the 5 losses (i think that's right, going off memory).

0% chance he's in condition to be a competent quarterback after this long, even backup. The politics weren't the only reason he was gone, he wasn't that great at the job to begin with.

Don't talk out your a$$, read BRI's response earlier about his 79 uses of force. Where the hell did you get the word 'accusations' from? You threw that in there on your own.

Atlanta protests tonight were very peaceful, although before curfew hundreds of people were trying to leave and get to their cars but the National Guard had blocked every street for 30 square blocks. Heard/saw a few white drunk a$$h@!es saying the n word and trying to pick fights but nobody would take the bait. Also I saw Ameer Abdullah downtown taking photos

Why'd you have to pick the worst ad campaign management company in the history of mankind? How many more dozens of "those weren't approved", "I didn't know they would do that", "that wasn't authorized" cases before it's actually the way it's supposed to be and there's an option to pay and get rid of them?

I must have missed the amendment in the Bill of Rights about the right to use public roads. -

The protestors in the streets currently aren't trying to take anyone's rights. -
@BigRedMax still working out the kinks huh?

Something I keep forgetting on pretty much a daily basis: The protests are more peaceful than the conditions that lead to them. Even with the destruction, the protests are more peaceful. The destruction of the climate isn't all localized in one time/place, the way you see with buildings burning, but they're not the ones disturbing the peace. The peace never existed in the first place. Only the illusion of it.

I know it's MSNBC but these videos of cops shooting at press and non-violent people on empty streets are pretty damn confusing: "Get out of here" "OK where do I go? I'm press here's my ID card" "hmmm better arrest him" "I'm press! I'm press!" "I don't care, get down" "OK" *pepper spray in the face* trigger warning - blood

Everything you've said is true. What's also true is that law enforcement and businesses are many multiple times more powerful than individual citizens. Tracking and mentioning and complaining about bad actions on both 'sides' the exact same amount is not fair, but is unfairly/disproportionately focused on the citizenry. One person breaks a window. Bad action by a bad actor. What's the damage? A broken window covered by insurance, maybe some stolen property covered by insurance. Decent chance they'll get prosecuted and punished if caught on camera. A cop hits a non-violent kid in the eye with a rubber bullet. What's the damage? The kid is blind in one eye for the rest of their life, maybe in crippling debt, and that cop will never face any accountability for it. Edit: All of that still has nothing to say about understanding but not condoning the pent up anger of decades worth of no progress in justice, and also nothing to say about the amount of citizens looting/rioting being different than those actually protesting and standing for something. I don't want to see my city burn. Especially Atlanta of all places. But I know most of the people doing the burning are provocateurs of chaos who do not reflect or represent anyone but themselves.

If you want a good Exhibit A on how cancerous twitter 'culture' is, look at the replies to that photo. Not a single person on both sides of the political spectrum with anything other than criticism and venom in response to this moment. You say you can make this distinction, but just a bit before this you put the onus of blame on protestors for the cops stealing their water, shoving over an elderly man with a cane, etc. None of the videos referenced in that YT video had anyone vandalizing, looting, damaging property, or directly putting anyone in danger, but your response to it sounded more or less like, "well they had it coming"
