  1. KU? Really? IMO Baylor will be a closer win than KU. Thier QB is the one that gave us more fits last year than Riesing, and he was a freshman! (I'm drawing a blank on his name right now........ was it Jackson or Johnson or something?) Either way KU will return to the middle of the pack in the Big 12.
  2. I hate ND as much as the next guy but Wies is proof that there is justice in the world............ Go Notre Douschebags!
  3. 10-2 With losses to OU (no shame there) and VT as Tyrod gets comfortable he will be a difference maker. The close wins will be to TT and Baylor (thier young QB will also really get them going). The most satisfying win for me will be the whoopin we hand out in Columbia.............................oh ya thats gonna be awesome! GBR!
  4. I'd like to see Mendoza and Curenski do KR and get thier speed on the field a bit more.
  5. Exactly. He should have a break out year...........I hope.
  6. I would consider them a "special rivalry" as they have to travel with 34 busses because CU doesnt own any that arent short.
  7. What did the hand say to the face...............................SMACK!
  8. I have been a fan of Cody Glenn since I started hearing about this RB from Rusk Texas coming in who could really lay the lumber. I rooted for him as he struggled with injuries at a position with alot of competition. I felt for him as he languised under an idiot head coach. And I respected him when he made the decision to switch to D. He has worked his a$$ off for every minute of playing time without ever complaining. He has shown what it means to be a team player, and a Blackshirt, I for one am going to miss seeing him finish his career as a Husker. Good luck in all you do Cody. GBR.
  9. Exactly. Having a good running game Saturday will definitely slow their D down and lock their LB's up which should hopefully open up the passing game...hopefully especially if the running game isn't successful in the beginning of the game, we just absolutely CAN NOT abandon the run (a la USC 2007). Maaybe. But maybe we absolutely can not stick to the run (a la USC 2006). Very nice................
  10. It's winning football games, and if you're a coach and you don't win, you get fired. Ask Bill Callahan. The Spread is here until the Spread Defense is invented. The spread offense is around until most teams have changed to a lighter faster defense at which time a power game will re-emerge to take advantage of the smaller defenses...................and back again........football evolution.
  11. i seriously doubt that......this will be a huge challenge for us! It will be nice to see truly where we are.
  12. Long story short, I need to find out about a previous strength and conditioning coach from NU with the first name Clint. I dont know if he was the head man or an assistant but you guys always seem to have the answers . Thanks for your help!
  13. Man spy and let the DE's pin thier ears back to disrupt timing to try and make him make quick pass decisions.
  14. Thats why at the top of the poll I put "Not looking past VT, just curious".
  15. He had the chance to go to Bama for cryin' out loud! If he had plans to leave that would've been a pretty good job to take.
  16. I am trying to stay away from the "Kool-aide" these days, but all I see are posts about the a$$ whipping we are gonna take from MU! Yes they are further along in thier developement than we are but I guess I feel like it should be at least a competitive game. Thoughts?
  17. I agree MU is a scary ball club right now..........a loss is very possible, likely even, but a blow out is a bit much don't ya think?
  18. Anyone know what Ganz' 40 time is?
  19. No doubt about it...it was amazing how the Huskers intensity level changed after that. I just don't understand why they didn't play like that before. It also woke the fans up, they were as quiet as they were at times last year...at least the fans didn't start leaving after the 3rd quarter like they did last year. The fans need to pump up the volume, the players do feed off that to some extent. That ultimatly is what is troubling me. Why were we so f'ing flat right out of the gates? Why were we so unfocused? Its like Niles Paul had to slap everyone on the team to wake them up! Then we decided to play a little bit.........the rest of the schedule wont allow us to " wake up" and turn it on.
