Looking good so far, run defense is solid and pass defense is okay. Davie has a knack for being the big time soft spot of the secondary. But up 24-0 at half and controlling the game I'm happy. Also this btn2go app is terrible when casting to chromecast.
Sticking with my pre season prediction of 10-2, I think we make adjustments and get better as the season goes along as well as getting guys back such as DPE etc. Besides the blown Hail Mary coverage to end the game, the defense was great in fixing what killed them in the first half. Love seeing adjustments to fix deficiencies.
Yeah, I was there. They let Ace Sanders get behind the DB's.I thought it was Alshon Jeffrey?
Ah, yeah, it was. Weren't they both there at the same time?I think so... I remember hoping we signed Ace when he was Brion Carnes HS teammate
Hurts to watch this defense, pathetic in every way. No pass rush, no coverage. Offensive line forgot how to run block also. And hey let's do predictable screens every third down!
Didn't Miami need a miracle play to escape with a win against an unranked Boston College team? The play where Ed Reed took the ball from a lineman and ran it in?... Anyways Nebraska played a tougher schedule and dominated EVERY game. Who got drafted where doesn't matter when it comes to how a team plays together, not to mention who was coaching each team. 95 Husker would beat 01 Miami by at least two touchdowns.
I disagree, let the kid heal and come back when he's fully healed and ready to play. No need to put his future in jeopardy just because some fans want to "get the most they can out of him" while he's at Nebraska.
This is a bummer. I think (like said above) this could cost us games, mainly due to his returning prowess. Him either returning for a td or just giving the offense great field position is huge, let alone what he may be capable of at wide receiver. I hate injuries.
Thanks for the info, as I am one of the people that follow off season stuff but don't have any "inside" access or read every tweet etc. Nice to see something positive, seems like I haven't been seeing good things regarding the offense in a while ha ha. Had me kind of worried. Regardless I'm still very excited for the season and seeing this new staff work with our IMO underrated talent. Thanks again
Amazing team, and the title game was so fun to watch. To see a team so good destroy another team which happened to win it all the following year tells you just how good that Husker team was. Rightful #1 ranked team to ever play college football
