  1. If true, I'm pumped EDITED BY MODS. Don't ever place a link to another board unless it's free content from Rivals, Scout or Huskerpedia. Your warning has gone up 10% without any suspension. Please do not do it again.
  2. I don't know if you're joking but I actually asked myself that today. I would give anything for Nebraska to be good again.
  3. Although I can see the point of the other 5 this one doesn't really make sense. While running 3 plays and not getting a first will take more of the game clock than 3 incomplete passes, in actual time (not the game clock) they will take the same amount of time.
  4. Go easy on him. I didn't think there was anything disrespectful with what he said.
  5. Matt Davidson said the same things during his short interview on ESPN last night during the game...there are only a few guys who are happy to be out on the field. Very little emotion i just watched that part ... im not a big davison fan , but he nailed it !!! I agree. And I'm sorry but this CANNOT be the coaches. I'm not saying that the coaches don't suck, especially on the defensive side, but I am a juco baseball player trying to make it to a divison 1 school after this year and I don't care who or what my coaches do I am extremely pissed when my team loses and would do anything I could to win. My coach right now is the most negative person I have ever met and will tear a player down in the middle of the game but that does not stop me from wanting to win. Not for him but for my teammates and if these guys could care less to be there then that is on the individuals themselves. Well football and baseball are 2 different mentalities and take it from a D-1 football player...coaching! So you're saying that in football you don't care about your teammates and would give anything for them? Or is there a different part that you're saying is different? If anything baseball players shouldn't care as much about winning every game as we play 60 games in a year as oppose to 13 or 14 and even the best baseball teams don't come anywhere really close to going undefeated.

  7. what, one loss and we are out?? c'mon people, we had 2 conference losses last year. Next 2 weeks are at home, i think we can win both games, and then a huge showdown in austin. Players know what a win at Texas would mean, and if we can win the next 3 games then we are back in business. And i know alot of you think this is completely unrealistic, but i do not. The next 3 weeks ALL will be much, muuuuuuuch easier games than Mizzou was. Mizzou is pretty good. No doubt Mizzou is a good team, but what have you seen that leads you to believe that we can stop Okie st. I know you're just trying to be positive, but I personally haven't seen anything from this team that would lead me to believe that we will be any kind of player in the division. The commentators last night also said that they have seen Stanford play this year and thought they were a bad football team yet they beat USC. I'm not saying that we can beat anybody now but I'm sure nobody saw anything out of CU, App. St, KSU, etc. that showed that they could beat the teams that they did. Anything is possible this year. We could win out, we could lose out.
  8. I don't really care who is running the program or if we don't win any games I will still buy husker gear and continue to go to games. I will be extremely pissed a lot but I can't stop wearing my husker stuff.
  9. Any suggestions I can give my son about keeping his shoulder in tact? He is going to pitch for Carl Albert as a soph this season. Just get some running in then ice after he throws. More running the next day and the stronger his legs are the better. Using more legs than arm when he pitches is the best way to keep the arm healthy.
  10. That's true but I don't think that fans talking about it will have anything to do with the team looking ahead to a team that's not their next game.
  11. Try allofmp3.com..I'm pretty most of the songs are below 99 cents
  12. Alright. So basically there is a chance that it will still lag even with the same res. That's is what I needed to know. Thank you very much for helping me clear that up.
  13. Ok that is totally different than what I have been told. I have been informed that because the older systems use 480 p or i (can't remember) that the tv has to up-convert to 720 or 1080 so that is why there is lag and that if you are using a 360 it can up-convert instead of the tv doing it so the lag goes down.
  14. Alright thanks. I just bought Philips 19" and my original xbox has lag issues pretty bad. But I am getting a 360 elite in about a month and was told that with either the high-def cables or hdmi cables it shouldn't have an lag problems so I was just going to make sure.
  15. I was hoping that someone who knows some stuff about video games could help me out. I have heard that there is lag on hdtv's and I was just wondering if the xbox 360 would have any trouble since it is a next gen gaming system. Any help would be appreciated.
  16. WOSC. Juco in Oklahoma. Playin baseball
  17. Wish I could be there. I was going to try to go this year for the first time but I have a baseball game that Saturday. This blows
  18. born and raised in oklahoma and been to a fair share of games at owen field and it is nothing like a game in lincoln..believe me
  19. What school is he playing at? I played 5A baseball in OK and it is very hard to play as a freshman in big schools down here so that is really good. Tell him good luck with his season
  20. Heard on the Dallas news that there was close to 40,000 NU fans..we were pretty close to selling out our side but Auburn had a lot of open seats and a lot of NU fans were on there side as well..as far as ticket prices on game day I sold one for $15
  21. They actually live in the southwest already..sorry to quell your hopes
  22. Same down here but not quite as bad..we're about 2 and a half hours southwest of OKC so our trip could get very interesting..leaving as early as we can tomorrow so we can take our time making it to KC And talked to my aunt from Wisner, NE and she said that today it was about 8 degrees with the wind chill right around 0
