I probably could have written that first post better but it just pisses me off that I feel like this! Listen, when it comes down to it I will be cheering for the players to take care of business on any given Saturday! I just wanted to express my frustration with the situation! The players are giving their all to this program and I respect the hell out them for it! I always wear my Husker gear no matter what and this isn't going to stop that! SUPERBUNNY

I hate the fact that it has definitely crossed my mind that I should cheer for Texas tomorrow so that there is absolutlely no chance of Clownihan and his staff saving their job! According to everything I read in the other threads that probably is out of the question but heaven forbid! I hate it even more because there should be only one focus and that is cheering for the fine young men that compete for Nebraska. It's just a flat sham/e that we are put in this position. Maybe the perfect scenario would be for the team to play their asses of and overcome numerous obvious blunders by the coaching staff to pull of a win in Austin and begin the healing process! How does that sound? Boy do I hope we never have to go through this again! SUPERBUNNY

I loved reading his posts but was very suprised by the high level of inside information that IBR had that came true. Either that or he is the reincarnation of Carnac the Great! None of the athletes signed up for that kind of ridicule. It is pathetic for a fan to say that. Anyone that would resort to this tactic is not a true Husker fan at all. The sooner (pun intended) they jump ship to another team the better Husker Nation will be. No matter what the outcome these young men and women in every sport deserve our support win or lose. If we can clap for an opposing team walking off the field after we crushed them, then we sure as hell should be able to cheer our team no matter what the outcome. Just think of what kind of impression that crap has on a potential recruit. Does it help? Hell, no! If we are the best fans in college football, then let's make these clowns understand that their behavior isn't acceptable and show them what being a Husker fan is all about! SUPERBUNNY

What I couldn't believe is how Rose and Fialla were talking about the Blackshirts were playing a 4-3 defense without mixing things up at all. Virtually no blitzing, stunting, or whatever. They noted that Texas A & M had no problem moving the ball at will because they new what they were facing. These comments were in the third quarter after the team came out after half and made no discernable changes. THAT IS COACHING PLAIN AND SIMPLE, OR THE LACK THEREOF!!! THIS COACHING STAFF OR HEAD COACH AT MINIMUM IS PHONING THE REST OF THE SEASON IN!!! The guys on the radio couldn't take it anymore and it was if they were saying that they couldn't defend Callahan and his efforts anymore. Those at the game probably didn't hear but sure saw it. Touchdown Tommie is probably right on the fact that NDSU might be a better team than the Huskers right now. Scary isn't it? I have followed Coach Bohl before and after he was at Nebraska and he is doing a great job at NDSU which is a school in it's last year of transition from D2 to FCA (aka IAA) and restored that program to prominent stature that it held through much of the last couple decades. Bohl has made a better head coach than a coordinator and has really grown as a coach. He will no doubt be a name that is talked about as the next Husker coach but I really doubt that he will be the one hired. Keep an eye on him though, he is definitely going to get some good offers as a result of his work at NDSU and his former association at Nebraska. He may be a better candidate for Nebraska a number of years down the road. SUPERBUNNY

My guess is that Callahan will actually embrace the Husker heritage with his play calling this week. We may see 7 to 10 "rooskies" and the option will probably make an appearance. Even with all that, the team will put in a better effort than the last couple games! In all seriousness though, I expect Callahan to put in good effort along with his staff because they all have futures that they need to worry about. Cally will have enough dough to last after this but he needs to look after his assistants. They aren't making enough to quit working! Plus, if he has any pride at all he will do everything to turn it around! I just feel bad for the players and I will be rooting as hard as ever for them from Section 35, Row 97 in the North Stadium! I have heard Petrino would leave also if given a great college team.....Like Michigan, or LSU if Miles leaves. he will demand $4MIL/year. Out of our league. If the boosters come up with $40 mil to run Pederson and Callahan out of town then they won't have any trouble coming up with 3.5-4 million to get the right guy. Personally, I'm on the Pellini bandwagon. Should have been the coach in the first place! SUPERBUNNY
