  1. Then unfortunately you are not a true Husker fan. Even in times of great despair, w/our beloved Football team, I proudly wear my Husker gear. I wear it in places such as Missouri, colorado, Iowa, Kansa, Etc. Even now I still do. I will always and forever be a Husker fan and contiue wearing their stuff til I die. GBR!!
  2. I haven't read all the reply's so please forgive me if this has been said. I believe that if Nebraska continues to get waxed every week for the next 4 weeks, that BC will have essentially buried his coaching career. Honestly what team college or pro would take a chance on him as a HC or OC? Especially if his track record has him bringing down the Raiders then 1 of the historical powers in college football. No owner or university is going to want that type of publicity. This being said I wouldn't doubt if we get waxed byt Texas this week and get waxed again by Kansas next Saturday that he offers up his own resignation to salvage what's left of his coaching career. GBR!!
  3. Well we'll know that Watson will be calling those plays. BC even said when he became coach that he doesn't know anything other than the WCO. Go Watson!
  4. I doubt it. But pretty damn coincidental don't you think? I'd be hard pressed to believe Bo or Tom would hint towards anything like that. Just doesn't seem like some TO would do.
  5. so the #1 JC recruit in the country decides to commit when EVERYONE is jumping ship. if you want to believe that he's here for academics..... ok. but if he was so concerned about academics i'm doubting he would have gone to a juco. so then your telling me he turned down LSU and A&M for our "tradition"......... I guess if you want to believe that. Zac Potter was his host. As someone posted earlier Zac tells recruits that you either commit for tradition & academics or you commit to the coaching staff. Zac tries to get them to commit for the tradition and academics. Probably because in alot of cases around the country coaches come and coaches go. Most don't stay more than 5 years at 1 school anymore. IMO by Kuli comitting to NU doesn't mean Bo Pelinin is going to be the next HC. Whether people want to beliebe it or not BC is finished at Nebraska. Unfortunately I don't see us winning anmore games this year and that's sad. All these games would be winnable otherwise.
  6. He said they will win. Not the way they are playing at the moment. I hope they will win another game or 2. I just don't see it happening.
  7. That speaks volume's in my opinion.
  8. I was until a few weeks ago. Now he and his buddy Coz are both cancer's and need to be fired ASAP. We'll get destroyed by Texas. I think the longer we keep getting our tails kicked, the harder it will be for Bill to get another gig. Whether that is as a HC or assistant at any position. I think it should be in his best interest to leave now b4 he gets black listed forever.
  9. I pretty much wrote off the 2004 season as it was his first season and the whole culture was changing offensively. My support started to wane in 2005 when we lost 3 straight, but I regained support when we best CU the Michigan. I was supportive last year as well even through the OSU meltdown. However I think the Ball State game this year really stood out. No way that team should've hung 40 pts on us. Then it was after the Missouri game I realized the issues on Defense had now spread to the offense. And thought it was time for BC to go. Our play the last 2 weeks against OSU and A&M have only solidified the fact that BC is a bad coach and needs to leave ASAP.
  10. Sorry to change the subject IBR, Have you heard any new news yet concerning BC? Just curious and anxious to get that jerk out of there.
  11. He won't be the HC at Nebraska. The rumor has it that if Stoops is fired from Arizona that if he doesn't go back to OU to coach for his brother that Pelini wants him to be the DC at Nebraska. If Stoops chooses not to come here, then Marvin Sanders is being tabbed by Pelini to be his DC. Remember this is all speculative at the moment until proven true. So yes you are correct.
  12. Dang that's a tough one. I'd have to say a win over CU would be the best. Those jerks don't desrve to be playing in the Big12! They lost to a D1AA team last year. At least we have never lost to a D1AA team....yet.
  13. I believe Lil Red has been around since the 90's. I remember the first time my wife and I saw him and he didn't have a name yet, we always referred to him as the Campbell Soup kid.
  14. Dude! You went to Harvard when you were a kid? Dang I'm jealous. As for NU becoming big business, it's very sad. However we all had to know this was coming. We are probably 1 of the few remaining major universities that lasted as long as we did b4 becoming big business. Perhaps that's why they asked TO to take over. He might be able to shed some of that big business mentality. However I believe whoever taes over next will be forced to go that route.
  15. Let's vote and forward it to BC!
  16. Could this poll be forwarded to Callahan and his cronies?
  17. Awesome. Thanks for the link! Now I have 2 boards to watch for info.
  18. Well it certainly helps to learn something in college. Tom brady is the exception not the norm. Most players who have a good college career go on to do well in the NFL. Also doing well in college gets you paid on that first day of the draft, and Callahan has done nothing for these guys to have a buzz about anyone of them so they can land that payday. At this rate we wont have anyone who can even pull a Ryan Leaf. I would rather get my payday and have a shot at the NFL than to be coached so badly in college I dont get looked at and never have a chance. I'd throw Joe Montana into this mix as well. He was a 3rd round pick. He had a decent college career. He didn't start a whole lot of games. Yet he was the greatest QB the NFL has ever seen. He had ice in his veins. If the 49ers were w/in a TD in the waning mins of a game, it was almost certain the 49ers were going to win. That aspect was shear intimidation on Joe's part.
  19. Where is this info? I would loev to see it? You're right though...that is very disrespectful. I don't care who his boss is, you don't show up late unless you have notified them prior that you'll be late. Maybe he's purposelty taking a dive so since he knows his career is crewed that's why he's holding out for more money. As for KC his contract is not nearly as lucrative. He can just be fired by TO if TO feels like it as it would be negligible on the amount owed to him.
  20. If he cared then why wasn't it until TO became AD that he finally decided to change some things up in order to try and right the ship? I have to agree w/another poster here...BC only cares about himself. He's not once ever put the University or team b4 himself. He's in it for the glory. He could care less if this program tanks. The good thing about it is that this is the 2nd time a program has tanked under his watch. Now maybe teams will be more cautious when hiring this fool. Too bad this happened at NU's expense.
  21. Do you think that Callahan was yelling? Well, just wait until Pellini gets here. You'll see some yelling like you've never seen before. LOL I'm all for yelling at a player when it needs to be done. Every now and then they need a swift kick in the butt. However when you as a coach are yelling at a player and you have no idea how correct him, then you look like a pompous jerk, and probably shouldn't be coaching at all. At least when Pelini yell's he coaches the kid, then after it's all said and done he tells the kid he loves them. I don't see or hear any of this from Callagrove.
  22. Actually the only player that I seem to remember anyone saying anything about was McKeon. He's a cancer on the team. Otheriwse I feel for the rest of these kids. Having been sold on a lie. Where's the integrity of that? These kids will be better off w/another caring coaching staff. Not the Current one's who could care less about tradition or excellence. See you fair weather fan. The rest of us will stick it out through thick or thin.
  23. GREAT!! Now the entire nation can watch us get our clocks cleaned by KU. Dang I never thought i would say that.
  24. I love some of the comments on their. mighty full of themselves. I wonder if they realize we have a better recruiting class right now? Man wouldn't that piss them off!
  25. Once again, OK great. But you still haven't answered my question. If Lee is better than Ganz, should Lee start? If it came to that? The answer is yes. Listen, I'm not trying to take anything away from Ganz he's obviously dedicated an a hard worker. From what I have watched from both QB's Lee is more talented. Yes I agree if Lee, Witt........are better then yes, but I don't see that happening........but yes if you are right then yes. 2nd thing I wanted to say...........the whole WCO being a four letter word.......I watched the pats on sunday and thought damn that is how you run it/........I was at the A&M game and the whole time I was like where is the tight end where was play action.........what happened after the one misdirection.........wets coast offense could still work if you had someone who called the plays right..............I mean it could still work even better here if the walk-on program was brought back into play and you have a quarter back and recievers come up in the system and get the system into a machine like mode similar to the option teams of the past....... I mean come on I watched the niners teams.....pats, trojans.....sh#t even our running game is not out of commission...........this season and with that the toght ends and play action is there ...but WTFis up with the play calling. Abolutely! The WCO offense if properly coached is unstoppable. Why BC doesn't get the TE and backs more involved I have no clue. BC can't coach it at the college level. And he's unwilling to scale it back to do so. Auburn and USC run the WCO and seem to have no probs doing so. That tells me the coaches at Nebraska (namely BC) can't coach it. Watson did a better job than BC on Saturday. He knows how to coach it at the college level and the proper plays to call.
