The NU-KU tickets thread is what you are looking for, and it had a decent following. And I'm really getting sick of all these " should have won games" These Huskers will go down in history as the team that played everyone close, yet still lost the damn game team. At least we have two horrible teams next, Texas Tech and Colorado. if we lose even one of those two games I'm done with this team.

I will be shocked if we don't get this guy. ASU is a huge party school, and they are bandwagon fans, so unless that scumbag Erickson tells him some lies, they are out for sure. Arizona has no tradition at all, and they told him they want to redshirt him, so I doubt he goes there. Come on Eric, Nebraska is the easy choice.

Did you see the replay? The correct call was made, they called Anderson for hitting the guy in the head. We lost this game fair and square. This team does not know how to win close games, and that is why we lost.

I'm just sick of this crap. These guys just don't know how to win. This is the most average Kansas team the Huskers will ever face, and they still can't beat them. 12 in a row,if anyone is counting anymore.

I just can't watch this, because it's the same old story over and over. Really good effort, then a big time drought on the offensive end. I will turn it back on a the end, and pray that we can somehow put the ball in the hole.

Rickey Thenarse was also "almost for sure" not going to qualify and here he is about to start his senior year. Will he actually earn a degree though? Does anyone really care anymore? Let's face it, for all the academic all-americans that have come through, there's been just as many duds. And many who graduated, weren't exactly Einsteins! cough.....Jamal......cough....cough.....Lord I just hope they don't have to pull a lot of strings to get Byrd in. With all the tutoring NU supplies, once he's enrolled he should have a good chance to graduate. Hell yes we still care. I think it is pathetic that OU and Texas are at the bottom in graduation rates. And I don't care how dumb you are, or how much tutoring you get, you still have to do a lot of work and pass tests. I'm proud that people like Jamal Lord were committed enough to complete their degrees from the University of Nebraska.

Man, I wish this kid would commit soon. I will be really disappointed if he commits to U of A or ASU

wow... that sucks. things arent going the best right now Yeah that sucks, but I think we are fine. If Martin comes aboard, it will cap off an excellent recruiting class this early in Bo's career. I think the coaches will still be very satisfied, even if no one else commits. But it is hard to see KU and CU get some really good commits in the month of January, while we have not gotten any lately.

Well, he has said he wants to play with his brother in college, so our chances are very good. I had no idea that a 15 year old kid could do the things he does on the football field.

Ouch, what a horrible effort on both ends of the floor in overtime. I mean, 2 of their shoots inside were uncontested. And why in hte hell can't we score at the end of games. 1 basket in the last 7 minutes of the game is a joke. Velander should have been benched, but no, he just kept launching three's. I'm so pissed right now, becuase we really needed this win.

70-69 in overtime, this game is going to give me a heart attack. Come on Huskers this a must win game.

Very frustrating to watch these guys on offense. I really don't even want to watch them until the last two minutes of every game. We never get blown out, and are always in the game at the end, so why put up with watching until then. Now let's win this one Huskers, we need it with Kansas up next.

Nah, Baker was scheduled to play this year as a true freshman. Coaches had every intention of getting him on the field. That alone should tell you where he was at considering how they redshirted dang near everyone this year. But Baker got sick, not injured, lost weight and was in no shape to contribute. But not being physically at his peak he was giving our offensive line fits during bowl practices. That should speak volumes. When Baker gets back into the 300lbs-310lbs range, he is gonna be a monster. That is exciting to hear. I would be shocked if is not 300-310 right now, if he has been healthy for a while. He was 290 comming in right?

I have lived in Blue Springs for 3 years now, and high school football is big time here. It's a town of 50,000, and at one point a couple of years ago, both Blue Springs and Blue Springs South were in the national top 25. They have a very good youth football program here, so the kids are very well coached. They have been putting out several D-1 prospects a year since I have been here. Missouri QB recruit Blaine Dalton, from BSS is somewhat of a high school legend around here, we should have gone after him. If this kid is a walk on, he will be better prepared than the Nebraska walk-on kids to play right away. edit..oops the kid is from Lees Sumit. That is where walk on Matt Holt is from.

We really need this game today. We need to really slow the tempo of this one down, and take them out of their fastbreak offense. These guys are launching 25 3 pointers a game, and making 10 of them. I feel good about our chances in this one ,if our half court game is on. They should be frusrated as hell with our guys in their face all day long.

I'm glad Helu and Q had game experience going into this year. Just imagine where our running game would have been without them, with the year Lucky had.
