Go to UNL, Kearney sucks! Especially since you are from Omaha, it might be hard to adjust to having a lot less to do in Kearney. I am currently at UNL finishing my last semester and I've loved it. Can't beat Saturdays in the fall, bars are within walking distance, dorms are nice.

It does help, however I still am wondering why he hasn't signed then...guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I agree, if we get pitching we'll be good. I hope a good ol' Millard South boy Hauptmann can contribute this year. And for 2010, I'll make sure to tell DJ to not sign with an MLB team.

WOW, KSU accepts 95%? WTF?! Seems like all the north schools accept over 85% except UNL. Kind of weird that the high ranking schools wouldn't have a higher yield....

I see on Rivals we have him as a verbal, but not yet signed...I haven't heard anything about him either. Anyone know the status on him? What kind of player he is and such?

We will make some noise next year. Niemann, Diaz will help the low post game. McCray is going to be a big asset next year, he is starting to put the pieces together now. He could end up on an all big 12 team, he is that good. Bear is a pure scorer...if we had him this year, our offense wouldn't be so terrible. He can create his own shots and drain them. Starting 5 next year would preferably look like this: Cookie, Bear, McCray, Diaz and Niemann. then with the backups of richardson, anderson, standhardinger, sek, ubel, gallegos, edwards, possibly anthony harris, we should have a solid rotation. Wish Joaquim didn't have to go JUCO route either...

must be nice to get about 10 5 and 4 star recruits just from your state less than a week into the official recruiting period.

I was real happy Sek got fouled at the end too. His misses against Colorado were an aberration, his stroke is too good to be a bad free throw shooter. McCray, Dagunduro, and Harley had excellent offensive games. I'm glad McCray is playing more, he is a real offensive weapon.

Saw him in the Class A final...wasn't impressed. He made a lot of mental errors, not throwing the ball away, not scrambling for yards when he needed to. However that could be just one game. I have heard he is a solid player.

I'll be there, hopefully a better result than that damn KU game.

well technically its just one guy, he has a back up group. The real crazy thing about him is that he is a Hasidic Jew. If you don't know what that is, well its the most strict Judaism there is. For instance on the Sabbath, they don't drive a car, flip a light switch, etc, which is why he doesn't perform on Saturdays. But he is real real good. One of the best albums I've heard is his Live at Stubb's. Just fantastic from start to finish, especially his beat boxing skills.

I just looked, and starting at the OK St game he is 2-15, not including tonight. 1-8, 1-5- 0-2, and then whatever he does tonight.
