They won't be trying any trick plays unless they're desperate. They're playing for Bowl eligibility here. It'll be strictly bread and butter, grind it out football unless things get out of hand.

I feel sorry for that one guy on the right that doesn't have a letter painted on him. He went to all that time to paint himself yellow, only to have them run out of letters. He was supposed to be the exclamation point but they haven't covered punctuation in CU Honors English yet.

Yes Justin is the third youngest brother of the Mak family, and Jordan fourth and last I believe. Both are playin for East Butler As for Ronnell.. yeah his scholarship got pulled I guess because they changed his mind cuz he "wasn't good enough" or some bullcrap. DeAntae the big brother of the Grixby family was pretty damn pissed about that and Courtney.. only half as pissed. Thanks, hope that TO and the new coach will re-evaluate Ronnell. I would hate to see a solid legacy player go to another school. Note to Chizek....potential new recruit for Iowa State. Handle it just like we did with that Bates kid....

Running up the score? Who cares? What are ya...a bunch of girls? Run that SOB up to a million if you can! Let the starters pound on then and then put everybody else in so they can pound away too! Let them know you're superior to them in every way and then, when they come back the next year thinking about revenge...pound em again! You let up on em and win by...say...10 points and then they start thinking stuff like..."We just barely got beat" "That game was close...we'll get em next year" You don't want that...you want to rip every shred of confidence and dignity they have away. Geez...I can't believe people are worried about running up the score...must be a nice problem to have considering my Clones have trouble scoring, let alone running the score up.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Real nice...first we crush KSU, giving you the perfect opportunity to blow their decimated team out the following Saturday then we spank CU, leaving you their demoralized husks to destroy this Saturday...not to mention that Texas was so winded from running down the field so much against us that they hadn't caught their breath yet by the time you played them...leading to your decent showing through 3 quarters of that game. If you would have played all of your opponents the week after we got through with them you would probably be undefeated in the Big 12. Where's the love brother??? To my B12 Brother Cy- Chizek (sp?) is showing why the 'Clones hired him. They have pretty much improved every game they played this year. I'm impressed. If he can recruit, watch out...ISU may be the next KU. There's a back-handed compliment if I ever heard one....

We'll end up in the Insight Bowl playing against Iowa...another team that doesn't deserve to go to a bowl. Of course the Huskers will crush the Hawkeyes because Iowa has a totally pathetic offense and an undersized and undermanned defense...plus I despise their fans. So...the Huskers will prevail in the "Filler Bowl"...the bowl game that fills the broadcast time between real bowl games between good football teams.

I would like the see Kansas play against another college football team instead of the high schoolers you've been beating up all season...I mean, you do realize that your opponents so far during this ballyhooed season have a cumulative record of 42-62 don't you? Jayhawks are going down on Saturday!

CU would have only tied the game if either field goal had been allowed. Hard to say how it would have gone in OT. Truth, but I would have liked our chances in overtime (especially having just scored 10 points in the last 3 minutes of the game). The Buffs got absolutely screwed by this Blakeman character, here's hoping the players are better at letting go of that game than I am. Whine whine whine...that's all the Buttaloos are good at. "Oooooh we got screwed at the end of a game where we were favored by a touchdown and had a 21 point lead at half and then pissed it away....Wah!" First, if you would have played a better game, maybe you wouldn't have had to worry about trying to set up for a field goal with 1 second left in the game. Second, it's a fact that the refs have to be set before a play can start. I saw the same thing happen in a later game with KU. They had a completed pass called back because they were running their Indy offense and snapped the ball before the refs were set. Same result...ball came back and the play was started over. Third...once the refs are set, the clock starts. If you can't get the ball centered in a second...too bad. Game over. Face it...if the Buffs expended as much effort playing as they do complaining they would be the Big 12 champs every year. What's your spring conditioning drills consist of....running around looking for someone to blame? No wonder you play like a bunch of babies at the end of the season Huskers are going to stomp the Buffs...and I'm gonna laugh.

Totally off subject but I just wanted to offer my condolences in advance for ruining your chance for a perfect season by thumping your Jayhawks on Saturday and leaving most of your players crippled and unavailable for the Missouri game. Carry on....

I like the fact that you guys are coming into Boulder cocky... you hang onto that feeling as long as you can, I want your loss to hurt a bit. I voted no and, without drooling on my computer, I'll tell you why: Though I've looked forward to Husker bowl games for decades, I don't think this team deserves to go to a bowl. The defense still sucks regardless of the blow-out against KSU...they gave up tons of yards and 30 points to a team that was supposed to have rolled over and played dead. What will they do against a bowl-eligible team. Look at the opponents we've beaten: Ball State by !, Iowa State, Kansas State....need I go on? Just looking in the conference, we've only beaten Iowa State and KSU...a team that ISU beat! We win against Colorado and we've beaten ISU and the two teams they managed to beat! The best we can do is finish next to last in the Big 12 North. Think the Huskers are a laughing stock now? Just wait till they pull into San Antonio or whereever with their 6-6 record trailing behind them. The team gave up during some of the blow outs...like Missouri. Do you want to reward a team that gives up during a game? Too many bowls as it is. I've already been embarrassed by ISU getting bowl bids after crappy seasons and then getting blown out by teams like Boise State in the Humanitarian Bowl...If you want to take a mediocre team to a rinky dink bowl that's only being played in some rinky dink town against some other rinky dink opponent that doesn't belong there be my guest. I won't watch...after four decades of Nebraska supremacy in major bowls against big time opponents, I can't stoop to the level where I would enjoy it this year. You all talk about tradition and the Husker way...taking this team to a bowl is NOT the Husker way.

Damn! I just realized this whole Callahan mess was caused by a friggin typo! The secretary put a hyphen into the word "resign" and Cally actually thought he was "re-signing" his contract and not resigning it! Once Pederson realized the screw up he was too embarrassed to actually tell BC he was canned, BC being so happy and all what with the vote of confidence from NU...and the rest is history.

Lee's a juco transfer who obviously thrives on that pathetic West Coast offense...sounds like just the guy Callahan needs to lead the team to victory. I've learned to never count on a juco transfer to deliver as much as promised.... I think I'd take Bates and five years over Lee and three years...especially considering Bates can run the ball effectively. We do have a habit of turning QB's into receivers don't we? Oh well, after Myer graduates we only have Arnaud and Bates left so he'll be getting his reps.
