Not sure that I would call our situation one that needs a "massive rebuilding". The big thing is finding a new HC and hiring a new staff. Then get some intensity on the defensive side of the ball and start winning football games again. ...T_O_B

Worst Case: Cally stays. Takes over as his own DC and puts together a 500 page book of different defensive schemes. The White Team wins the Spring Game. Best Case: New defensive minded HC comes on board with the understanding that if all goes well he will move up to AD in 5 years when T.O. calls it a career. Turner Gill comes in as OC with the understanding that he is being groomed as the next HC. Gill uses an updated option attack that averages 400 yds rushing and 200 passing. The new DC is going through a closet just before the spring game and finds a laundry bad full of Black Jerseys, the Black Shirts are reborn and pitch 4 shutouts during the season. We go 10-3 for the season. Win the 1st bowl game in the new Orange Bowl over South Carolina and our good friend "The Ole Ball Coach." I get to go to all the games with the C-Bear, who will be a freshman next year. She makes the Dean's List every semester and gets a scolarship that pays the difference between in-state and out-state tuition. ...T_O_B

Well ya know...I've followed the Huskers from the days of Glover, Dutton, Blahak, Kinney...through Tagge and Humm, Rozier, Redwine, Hipp...through the good years, the better years...and this year too. I've been a fan from Devany through Osborne to Solich to Callahan. Sure...I like to spout off about the Clones now and then...somebody has to support them after all...but I grew up with Husker football. But, since you're obviously offended by the presence of a Clone fan on a Husker board, I'll go on over there..unfortunately there are not a lot of people there since football ended for ISU last week. There will always be idiots in any fan base. Unfortunately they are also the ones you always hear about. Those of us who get thru "the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" without losing our dignity are the true Husker Fans who have, over the years, built the reputation we now enjoy. I'm sure the same can be said for the majority of CU fans. A bad apple is just that and the rest of us in the barrel need to expell these bad ones. HSKRNOKC is right, Beach Buff is a good example. I look in on TigerDroppings dot Com on occasion and the name that comes up most often is Steve Spureior, don't think I spelled the name right but you know who I mean.
