What is interesting to me is that it isn't the guys walking on that are making a fuss it's the guys with full ride scholarships, who get room, board, tuition, plus all the normal free gear. If they want to be considered an employee get ready to be considered to be fired when you don't meet performance levels.

If they become labeled as employees, could just start paying them minimum wage and they would have to pay all their tuition and expenses out of their own pocket. If universities end up having to pay players, it would kill DII, DIII (no scholys currently) athletic programs. Might as well just cut all sports
