I'm alright with having someone in the position, but how about we go with someone who's not an NFL guy?

Reminds me of a former boss of mine. Very likable, but couldn't really put the foot down with the underlings, and people slacked off.

He had three years. And in that time he proved... that he's good for two losing seasons in three years.

To really get to the root of it, I think you need to go up a level... Gee, Harvey, didn't you already see what happens when you fire a 9-3 coach once? But when you poison the relationship with your coach...

Moos did things the right way: with class. As I said in another thread, this reminds me of when Osborne fired Sadler. Even allowed Riley to speak one last time before the media, just like with Sadler. Contrast that with how Shawn the Weasel did things: just tell the players via email, and don't even let the coach have a chance to say goodbye to his own players on campus.

This is almost like a louder version of when Doc Sadler was fired: everybody loved him, but he clearly wasn't getting it done.

Pretty much what I figured, but I kinda wonder how they settled on Bray. Going for someone who might possibly be back next year? Safe to say neither coordinator will return, so that leaves the position coaches. But why Bray? Parrella at least has some prior connections to Nebraska, while Bray was a guy who played for Riley at Oregon State.
