  1. i think parity has almost taken over the validity of the predictions of college football : first three games are must wins and basically scrimmages to hopefully "fine tune" the team VT- they will be tougher than nails... I predict they'll be a slight favorite in this game and it will be sort of the measuring stick for Bo and the team ... in Lincoln I'll say it'll be a close game but VT wins MU- this might be ugly... depending on the VT game... if they beat VT , look out MU.. if they lose,no matter what, MU has the advantage .. no question TT- first roadie .... I don't care ... I think Bo and Co. come ready to bring it this game and they get the win ISU - we saw how they played OU last year... I don't think for one second we should overlook this team... I don't care who's coming back and who's not BU - just like the first three games... you just can't overlook this team... period OU- I think if they play to there full potential and OU has an off day we definitely have a chance here (OU always seems to have the most dominant team in the conference and eventually slips up and blows a game, kinda like ISU last year... hey it was close) KU- they'll be ready again, maybe undefeated, and NU will be in for a dog fight... I say NU by a score(so optimistic here) KSU - is the third time a charm for Freeman ? I think he'll have the toughest game in three tries CU- they'll win the game... it'll be another dogfight and NU comes out on top at home final regular season record 8-4 and a win in the bowl game 9-4 final record
  2. Givens and Robinson were crushing blows to recruiting especially to me because I feel the elite O Linemen are the most important .. but we gotta move on
  3. from what I've read I don't think Baker cares where he plays as long as he gets to crush people
  4. good for you Hey Cy, when you gonna jump on the Nebraska bandwagon ? you know you want to
  5. SOUNDS GOOD !! anyone know what this puts the class at ? 22 ? 23? how many more can/will we get ?
  6. I've seen some knock him for his size, but I really don't see that as a problem... with this new staff
  7. yep .. hopefully Rogers and Wald both made up their minds to go to NU .... I'm not banking on it though
  8. Big Willie - what's your prediction on Byrd ? where's he gonna end up ?
  9. I'm pretty new around here so I don't really know of any female posters but I say let's let them be the judge of that (picking out a hot chick)
  10. damn ! i can't wait to get home to see this video.. can't watch at work
  11. he was very high for a minor league player
  12. Misty Dawn or Jessica Alba I'd take the dream girl over the NC , mainly because I'm 27 and horny all the time... and I know they won't win it next year because they're gonna win it in Bo's third year and I threw the law of average in there (they can't win it every year) now if you would've said NU would beat every team very badly, kind of like this year's Patriots, I might have passed on the dream girl great topic !
  13. agreed, while i was in highschool our wrestling team went 2-3 deep at each class...ended up winning state 2 matches into the 2nd day back in...03 what school ? Skutt ?
  14. I agree with expat... what a ridiculous rule that , if true, would be broken all the time everywhere across the nation
  15. saying the walk-on program is important is an understatement... I wrestled in high school and we were very deep... we had a great JV team, which to me is kind of like the walk-ons... having such a great JV squad pushed a lot of the varsity more to be the best they could possibly be ...there were wrestle-offs all the time(2 wrestlers square off for a starting spot) and nobody wanted to lose there spot ... I see the walk-on program as a very significant impact in restoring the order
  16. BINGO ... I'm not worried at all with Bo and the staff as far as recruiting .... they're smart enough to find the talent they need.... it's always out there.. they just have to find it
  17. that's funny.. last year I got so pissed off in that loss to Missouri that I started doing 50 push ups every time the other team scored a touchdown... Callahan and Cosgrove literally drove me crazy and turned me insane... and I'm sure the beer muscles had something to do with it
  18. does anyone know what the defensive depth chart looks like right now ? I know it's early and certain players might be moved and what not but maybe someone has a good idea of what if may look like for the spring game ?
  19. i think it'll be about 50-50 honestly... Watson and Pelini are both smart guys who don't overanalyze things, unlike Callahan.... they have the common sense to know they'll have to play to the talent we have.. I see a nicely balanced offense for next year.... fall can't get here fast enough !
  20. if they don't stop the red raiders Bo will be as red as that monster in your avatar
  21. hey I know, why don't we have low expectations for this year and maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised , you know basically a 180 of last year
  22. I honestly believe VT and OU are losses but those to me are the only two "sure losses". Yes Missouri's tough and so is Kansas but this team's gonna do a 180 with Pelini and the re-energized staff
