Handwork is the key word there. You listen to Mr. Suh & thats all he talks about with the Pelinis. Dont let the O-line get their hands on you. Id say its working pretty good so far. Whoever starts @ DE next year is going to have earned it over some pretty darned talented people. I for 1 am very excited to see how it plays out.

He was on the field alot towards the end of this season. I am most excited about him next year- big body, started to show some improvement at the end of the year. Now dont get too excited or hang me for saying this, but if we are molding into an Alabama style of Offense, I can realistically see BK ending up our Julio Jones. He is a big body that has shown he can go get it. & at times get behind the D for big plays. (with an accurate pass) A big WR is a perfect compliment to a power running game & multi-talented TE's can make an offense downright dangerous.

Last time I checked, Watson has been here for more than 2 years. If its him or another OC, we need somebody with the cahones to run their offense & not continually "adapt to the personnel" we have. You tell recruits- this is our offense, do you think you fit in? If not, thank you for your time. Good luck to you. It happened last year albeit with much better results. I just think you should have a good idea what the identity of your team is before you play 5 games in a season. I do think hes a good coach, he just needs to get better help w assistants.

Prob wouldnt happen, but I dont see the harm in asking Turner to do it. He & T.O. are very close & as most of you feel, it would be freakin' awesome but I dont see it.

I just cant wait until we actually start winning these tight games instead of getting a pat on the back from the other teams coach & a "You guys a a really good team. Tough Luck" speech. The refs did not screw us that game. 1 questionable PI call & thats all I can think of.

Ok, I got it. We take a little bit of Oregon, sprinkle in some Nevada & top it with Georgia Tech. Its very interesting to watch GT. I love the triple option they run. Kinda makes you wonder what could have been if we hadnt gone to whatever this offense is now. The option is the new Spread. Everyone is figuring out how to defend the spread but you see GT gashing everyone with the option. If you got the players, its awfully hard to stop

The SEC really needs to look into their mirrors. They have mediocre teams playing each other every week so they all look good. Sorry if nobody else sees this. I would love to see TCU whip ALA or FLA in the NC game w offense. All I see when I watch SEC games is ! big play per game by a 5* receiver & all of the sudden its the best offense ever constructed. Get your mouth off of the ************ SEC & see who the real best teams are. TCU & CINCY

Lets hope he doesnt come in. I Thoroughly believe CG has a bright future here, but after watching him against Colorado, I in no way, shape or form see him to be ready to face a Texas defense that is light years better than CU. I think Watson becomes so conservative with CG in there, it could do nothing but hurt our chances to win.

The officiating is horrible at best in the whole nation right now. It seems like sometimes they think the QB's are wearing no contact jerseys, & other times a QB can get absolutely rocked & theres no penalty. I personally think in watching Texass play most of their games this year (my wife is a Texas Fan) that there is absolutely a bias towards UT mainly so McCoy, Shipley & Tebag from Florida can all ride off on their white horses after an epic NC game. The replay usage seems to also flucuate depending on who the call favors.

Its just nice to see the 'Skers gettin some love again on these all-conference teams. It is well deserved. Suh is gonna need a warehouse to put all his trophies in by the end of the year. Congrats to Prince & Crick. This is the beginning of a very special run in the history of NU football

If they want a defensive-minded coach, they can take Watson. Hes been making defenses look great all year

Always kinda thought of Bowden like Switzer in a way. Wanted to beat their brains in but at the end of the game there was always a mutual respect for their programs. Free Shoes U didnt always follow the rules, but they had some great teams with a coach everyone loved. Sounds familiar...............

Obviously, Fiesta is the top priority for NU. Would LOVE to beat Texa$$. But if we go to a non-bcs bowl, I think itd better benefit the program to go to Holiday simply for recruiting reasons. CG will be the 2nd time this year to play in the state of Texas, so I think itd be great to get out to SoCal & play a game in front of some Cali recruits. Cant hurt. & the fact of playing in the same stadium twice in 4 wks if its not Memorial Stadium doesnt really sound like a winner in the attendance dept. Not really a whole lot to do in Dallas. San Diego on the other hand........

Utah also lost at #22, so they could fall out, although it was a loss to a top 25 team in OT. I'm gonna say we're 22 in the Coaches, and 23 in the AP and 23rd in the BCS. I think we might be around 19. Just because hyping the CG w two top 20 teams is more flashy than saying #2 Texas vs #25 Nebraska

i think the key is for Wats to watch the UT/aTm footage over and over again. they knew what they were doing and it was more than just passion and emotion, UT was out-schemed, but the talent difference was just too much, especially with aTm's weak 'd,' however valiant they played. & We dont have a Jerrod Johnson at QB. Gonna be a long game IMO
