I agree with "Uno", I think it had everything to do with KNOWING he was starting.... As for being the starter next year, I don't see that happening.

AGREE!!! Why sit him against ISU and then play him against KU.... He should have sat again yesterday then he would be ready for the last two games.

Lets be careful what we wish for these days. We can't seem to keep our offense moving in the right direction each week, and we would have to match them score for score. Would be a bad thing for us if we lost, just like it was for OK.... However, the Fiesta Bowl would be great for me, since I live 10 minutes for the stadium.

I think this game came down to the weakness in our play calling. So it was on Watson this time guys. We were running the ball down their thoat in the first quarter with the wildcat and just handing the ball off to Helu. Now I will be the first to say you can't do that the whole game, but we sure could keep doing it until they stop it. However, as Watson always does, he gets away from something that works to try something else. Why didn't he run a variation of the speed option. It was obvious we weren't going to be able to pass, so open up the run game book and lets go. The line would have had a field day. Then when they stack the box, pop one over the top to the TE and away he goes. I think it all was bad play calling. Watson showed he can't change it up no matter what happens during a game. That is something to worry about long term. However, Colorado will be open at the end of the year, so maybe he will be on his way out anyway.

You can't blame the OC for all the dropped passes, that is on the players ONLY!!! However, he had to have known TU was going to key on TMac, so why not throw them a bone and have some plays with TMac, Helu, and Berkhead in the backfield together??? That would have forced them to play heads up and not allow 2 players to keep TMac in check. Anything different would have been a welcomed sight for sure. For that I blame the OC, he wasn't ready for anything the TU defense threw at us.

I figured we would drop below 15. We were way to high to start with anyway.

My son is the starting Mike LB on his JV team. He came home all pissed off, because he wasn't riding the bench on Varsity. Kids, will they ever learn. Good pics Cy, can't believe you went against your boys.......

I would like to see the fans at the game get LOUD like they used too. I remember going as a kid and it was so loud that your ears would ring for hours have the game. I think for the MU game, WE NEED TO GET LOUD!!!!!!! No matter what is happening on the field, the stadim NEEDS to be rock'n. The team is young and need the motivation to keep going. Forget the the "RED" out and "BLACK" out, how about we "BLOW OUT" MU with a noise level they haven't heard in Lincoln for a long time.

I have seen everyone being hard on the "D", however, if my memory serves me, was getting pretty drunk last night, our "D" made 3 or 4 major stops to force field goals, right???? Our "O" cost us the game last night, they couldn't get out of their own way. Not sure about the play calling either, seemed odd that on 1 drive we could go 80 yards in 3 plays and then not be able to move for the next 3 drives. WEIRD!!!!!
