  1. Two blitzes? Somebody on our sideline is nervous. I'm happy to see it.
  2. Nebraska is going to give up 600 yards to a FCS school. Let's chew on that for a while.
  3. That was my experience with him too. I just wanted to say 'hi'. He wanted to talk about my shirt (Oregon State), my time there and football. We spoke, in a parking lot at a golf store, for about 15 minutes. He could have stopped at 'hi' and walked away. I was impressed with his demeanor and size. He's WAY bigger than I thought he'd be
  4. I asked Scott about that. He didn't answer. He's either blown it off or didn't want to tell me. Was this in person? Meaning, he was literally silent after you asked? Cuz that's awkward. Yep, in person. He wasn't silent. He spoke about something else.

  6. After the biggest comeback win in school history? I totally disagree. I think Bo's priorities are all wrong. He should have been happy beyond words. Not whining about fans leaving early. You think he went out of his way to mention this?!?!? What the f#*k. It was brought up by probably the same person recording this. He was geeked about the win and some moron points this out instead of what had just taken place. In the heat of the moment of course I'd say f#*k them as well if they were willing to turn their backs on the team. I don't know and neither do you. That's the thing. I would have kept my mouth shut. That's something you learn with age and Bo is 2 years older than me.

  8. Why does Bo care about the fans leaving early anyway? Maybe that's why he can't win the big game. He's too busy watching for fans hitting the exits. I simply cannot imagine any coach caring about fans leaving early. I'm blown away by this.
  9. JT, in that old thread, this beauty appears: "I'm not making any predictions, but I am curious to see what Oregon does against an average SEC defense." How about 59 points on Tennessee through 3 quarters? Husker fans need to stop doubting Oregon. They are LIGHT YEARS ahead of our program. The sad thing is a lot of programs are now light years ahead of ours. Changes will come when this is realized, but only then.
  10. That's Chip Kelly's offense. They ran nothing like that before Kelly arrived.
  11. We have a MAC coaching staff. They've come here to learn. If we continue to hire coaches with little or not experience, they will get outcoached against experienced coaches. And we will continue to be disappointed.
  12. Give UCLA some credit. Their coaches made changes. That's the difference between a guy who had coached in the NFL for 25 years and our guy. Bottom line: Nebraska will never again live up to our expectations until they hire coaches who can coach "in game."
  13. Glad he made the team, but part of me was hoping he would get cut. Don't care for the Bengals, and word on the street was the Steelers were gonna scoop him up as soon as got cut. He would've had a bigger role in PIT than what he'll have for Cincy. That's why he made the team. Herron outplayed him, but the Bengals didn't want to lose him and knew he'd get picked up when put on waivers. They felt Herron would get through waivers and end up on their practice squad again. As a Steelers fan, I'm disappointed. I would have loved to have Rex on my team.
  14. I didn't think he would make the 53. Sometimes I am happy to be wrong. This is one of those times WTG Sexy Rexy!
  15. There's only 53 roster spots. Every one of those guys plays a position on O or D including special teams guys. Rex won't be kept for special teams alone because they just don't do that anymore. Not enough roster spots. plenty of teams have guys just for special teams... im a packer fan so my example is from them alone... jarrett bush... He is a stud gunner, but only plays CB if they are all hurt. Some teams may have 1 or 2 special teams only guys, but that won't go to a rookie with limited special teams experience.

  17. Herron's got more burst and they're in love with the kid from North Carolina. Rexy will either be on the practice squad or cut.
  18. You'd have to live in freakin' OKLAHOMA for 4-5 years. I'd rather live in Siberia.
  19. Because of the questions on defense, we don't know how good for bad DONU will be. It's really that simple.
  20. I thought he wore a Tim Tebow jersey to UT.
  21. Why Oregon State? There's never been a hint of a cheating scandal there and Coach Riley is known as one of the good guys in college athletics. Coach Blake did coach at Nebraska. And not that long ago.
  22. 2nd degree assault and 2 counts of harassment. That dosen't sound too bad. I'd let him sit a year and see if he can stay out of trouble. 2nd degree assault gets you almost 6 years in prison here in Oregon. Minimum. Probably not that different in Colorado. Edit: Looks like a mandatory 5 years in Colorado. http://www.colorado-criminal-lawyer.com/felony_cases/assault.html
  23. I can get behind this. Maybe that is why they are breaking the icy relationship and sharing ideas. A bridge is being built and I am all for that. I think schools sharing ideas is a lot more prevalent than we may think. I talked to Scott last summer while wearing an Oregon State shirt. He was quick to mention he had a lot of friends on OSU's staff. In the same breath, he mentioned he had a lot of friends on most of the Pac 12's staffs except for ASU and USC.
