I say go with Cody. Taylor probably won't be 100% the rest of this year, and Zac Lee is probably not 100% either. Cody played almost flawlessly today, doing exactly what was asked of him. I was very impressed with his play. I think he has earned the opportunity. If, and I say IF, Taylor is close the 100%, that is a different story, but I would be surprised if he is more than 60%.

I remember seeing him run down somebody in the 07 KSU game from the backside corner position that he had no business catching. I wondered why this guy was not returning kicks or playing slot receiver/running back. I think defense worked out well for him, though.

I thought the gameplan was sound and the offense capitalized on big plays from the defense. Cody Green played pretty well today, I liked what I saw.

Pelini chewed out the ref like a t-rex chewed through a car. Are we in Jurassic Park?

I am not sure why Pelini plays all these games with injury status of players. I think he just hates the media and doesn't think they are entitled to sh#t. At least that's how he comes off.

It also may be a by-product of aggressive play. I would like to see a stat of the number of personal fouls called on this team compared to the nation, and how that number has gone up through the years. Bo coaches aggression through the echo of the whistle and sometimes we get bit by that. I know Ricky Henry has had no fewer than 5 personal fouls in his career for picking people off at the end of a play. Also, the way the secondary is coached yields more pass interference calls. I think Bo would take getting a 15 yarder against him every once in a while on a PI instead of allowing an extra 75-80 yards in passing.

The Travis isn't even taking snaps at QB anymore as of fall camp. He apparently is just taking reps on special teams exclusively.

He will probably get a fine for his comment "We gave up 6, they scored 9." Why not just come out and say it instead of using innuendo? Might as well get your money's worth.

He's saying that all refs are biased in a certain way and other refs know that will affect the outcome of some games. Donaghy used that inside information that he got from talking to other refs to make lots of $$. If anything, Pelini's tantrums are well known and no one likes him which is causing official bias.

Most referees have a regular job and pick this up over the weekend. I had a professor at UNO that is an NFL referee. I am not sure how you tie Tim Donaghy to your point here. Are you insinuating that Big 12 refs are betting on games, and that they are betting against Nebraska? I don't see that point, considering the Huskers have hit the spread almost 50% of the games this year, either 6-5 or 5-6.

If he did quit, this isn't about textgate. From what I hear, and what I saw with my own 2 eyes, is that Taylor refused to get on a John Deere to be taken off the field to go back to the locker room to give Cody time to warm up. Instead, he walked back to the bench took off his shoe and walked back to the locker room. This was before the second half. If this was over texting, he would not have come out and started the second half. And for the person that mentioned the 11 AM presser tomorrow, that would be the weekly presser pushed up a day because of the friday game, not because Taylor quit the team. A presser would not be called for a player quitting the team. Let's all take a deep breath people.

Disagree, if he declines comment he might as well of said I agree with what Bo said. Harvey needed to say, we are Nebraska, we do not condone that type of behavior and will correct it. His job is to protect the image of the University, even if it means knocking Pelini down a notch or two. Bo was on tilt last night, but I think that it could have been handled better by Perlman. Who knows, maybe his comments were taken out of context. I don't think Pelini's actions should be condoned, but his reactions to what was happening were slightly calmer than those of my tablemates. Bo is going to have to learn how to control himself better for sure, I am just not a proponent of publicly attempting to save face by calling out one of your employees.
