  1. Jordan will be on Big red wrap up Tuesday....could we have a possible commitment on live tv in front of the Corhusker faithful??
  2. I think he will pla more as the season goes on, I agree with Redman. BUt thin about the game and situation. It was close the whole game, I personally didn't want the ball in anyone elses hands other than Ross or Taylor. PLus we ran a few plays up the middle and there was simply no push by the line. I think in a few years people will be doing interviews with Glenn, Dillard, Beck and they will all tell us how frustrating it was to sit, but how now they know they weren't ready for play.
  3. thought baylor actually played pretty well shutting down A&M's offense considering how well they have been playing, they maybe someone to actually worry about some IMO. Good point...I will not take any game as a "sure thing" this year.. Texas tech has classaic let down written all over it.
  4. And there is no sign of any injury....oh crap did I just say that...
  5. First off, have they come out yet??? WIll the Huskers get in? They should at least have votes??
  6. Thanks for bringing your best game. I was watching it on tv and you could hardly hear the announcers. It was great to watch and of course hear. Thanks Memorial Stadium.
  7. Jordan McMichael has to commit, I say today.
  8. 114765 (Baylor) Votes VS 139267 Nebraska) Votes
  9. I think this fits here. Was listening to an interview with Terry Bowden and he made mention of two coaches and gave props to their schools for sticking with them. Frank Beamer had 6 consecutive losing seasons in Blacksburg and McCarthy (although we know his team is still abiot weak to compete on a national level, but consider where they came from) have all taken there teams to the top, but it took time. Callahan needs some time.....I support him.
  10. IS that really surprising? Anyone outside of Nebraska thinks were going to lose.
  11. TTU had 73 points with 12 1/2 minutes to play against I-AA Sam Houston St last Saturday before Leach took pity on the Bearkats; TTU only managed 1 TD in the final 12 1/2 minutes. Leach did pull the starting QB midway thru the 3Q when it was 56-7. Sam Houston St is actually a decent I-AA team & went 11-3 last season ... Indiana St is not a decent I-AA team. What time is the game tonight or was it postponed
  12. We can only freaking hope I know one way that he would be gone for sure: if people stopped going to the games, and the Ath. Dept. started losing money. I would hate to see it, but thats a for-sure way for the fans to speak up. I think most fans like what he is doing
  13. Well not so fast, this guy was dominating spring drills and then he took the wrong damn class.
  14. I think the only section is near the opponents side where their fans sit. That section never stands or anything.
  15. Yeah I mean we can say we'll be in every game because we have a defense that we can depend on. We don't need the offense to try and outscore everyone.
  16. I'll reserve my "props" till after Iowa St, I think that's a game the Husker D can certianly get onto the national scene. But I will say the Defeense is improved Texas Tech will score a lot, but they will do that to everyone this year.
  17. Word is this guy is plain freakin lazy, I'm glad Gilmore is laying down the law. This kid never lifted any damn weights either.
  18. I sure hope he can stay healthy...Thomas losted 40 pounds this offseason and is still fat and overweight. He sucks....Murtha and Slauson will be a great combo. Murtha ..stop riding the moped.
  19. We have McKewon, Ruud and Bradley, but is there really any solid depth behind them, if say one of them couldn't play???
  20. Through three games, Adam Carriker has been unstoppable, racking up five sacks and seven tackles for losses. His tackle-for-loss and sack totals rank first and second in the Big 12 Conference and ninth and fifth in the nation, respectively. Does anyone think he will be back next year. Let's not forget that he is getting double teamed almost every play and still putting up great numbers.
  21. No. I think that the limited formations and plays is the result of trying to simplify a bit so that they execute a limited number of plays correctly. As the season progresses, we should see more variety. Right now, I just don't think the Huskers can afford to hold anything back. I think it looks that way because the players haven't grasped to tougher plays
  22. pic 132 of big dave flashing the bones is king Yes cool pics, I'll try to make on e of these events.
  23. 1) Pitts RB had some success running against NU, quite a few missed tackles. I am afraid that when we play a good running team, the 'Shirts may give up a good amount of yards. Dude, Wake Forest was ranked in the top 5 last year and returned both RB's including the ACC leading rusher.!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Reminds me of famous Solich quotes: "We moved around well"..."Tremendous ability"..."Tremendous player"...Tremendous game"
  25. Will he be rehired. Is it possible there are some board or regent members who simple can't stand to see what's happening. Well his contract is up after this year.
