  1. Can I be Darry? Whatever trips your trigger man.
  2. Crash Test Dummy???? Ummm Ummm Ummm Ummmmmmm....Once there was this kid who...got into an accident on his way home......
  3. Yep, because all of those establishments were built right after the ULL game and weren't there during the 90s runs. Holy sh#t this is starting to get ridiculous. Did you go to college? It is like this in any town/city with a large university. Go to Austin, TX....the damn bars are in the middle of campus and triple the number of Lincoln.
  4. This ...the coaches decided on Green for last week. Who knows who they decide this week. I think I might avoid this site the first part of this week. Why does it have to be Soc vs Greaser everytime this is brought up? F'n A Cotton, F'n A.
  5. No, I believe it is .08. Maybe he doesn't own the car? So wait, anybody who is familiar with drinking laws, is he ok as far as the drinking aspect is concerned? .035 is below .08. He's gotta be good in that aspect. He will not receive a dui.. however still a possibility of a reckless driving citation. As far as suspensions go I would presume that this will fall to the unity council for violation of team rules.. the one I have heard is that they were not going to drink during the season.. (don't know if its true thats just a rule I have heard) however, it is loosely enforced unless someone ends up in trouble... An important distinction here is the difference between DUI and DWI . I believe you can get charged with Driving Under the Influence, even if you are under the legal limit. Driving While Intoxicated requires you to be over the legal limit. Absolutely false. There is no DWI in Nebraska.
  6. Fan like this make me sick. If a crime is commited it should be dealt with regardless to how it effects the team. If by chance this is true this man should not be stoned becuase he did the right thing. The blame needs to fall on the player for letting down the team down. When will we get over this blame the victim thing when it comes to athletes and celebrities. Did you ever think this poster knew the kid? Maybe you took it the wrong way?
  7. BTW, he is now officially a douche bag for the bolded part. Don't think .035 is very drunk. Asshat.
  8. I would doubt it, especially since it doesn't say suspect taken into custody and it is just an incident report. It would be on the police blotter if he were arrested for a crime. I would say this is just filed under a traffic incident.
  9. No, DWI is Iowa or other states. DUI is the Nebraska law and that limit is .08 anything under that and you should be clear of alcohol charges. Especially when you are less that half the legal limit. As stated before that is like 2 or 3 beers. Legally he should be good. It's up to Pelini at this point.
  10. U St between N 30th St and N 31st St is what that means
  11. Why? This is a link to a county website, and they didn't. That is what Public Record means, the public can see it.
  12. No, I believe it is .08. Maybe he doesn't own the car?
  13. EDIT: sorry, spoke before you updated us.
  14. I've been doing that for hours, then I check the Life in the Red blog to see if it is confirmed. What's that they say about looking away from a train wreck?
  15. He probably tried but the guy he hit was too arrogant and too big of a douchebag to understand So regardless to if this is true or not. The victim in question is now arrogant and a doucebag for simply parking his car and calling the police. WOW Yeah. If this happened, Suh screwed up and deserves punishment. I would hope he would own up to it. The victim did the right thing...maybe shouldn't have posted all over Facebook and Twitter, but if a drunk guy hit my car, I would call them in too. Random drunk guy hits a parked car. "What an idiot! Throw the book at him!" Famous drunk guy hits a parked car. "Why report the crime?!" I still don't know if I believe all of this though. What if he is "famously drunk"? You have to document it somehow so he'll remember his performance, right? (BTW this is not about drunk driving being a laughing matter, so forget about posting that one) You bring up a very good point. Joba was famously drunk, was he not? Yes, I believe that would qualify. Maybe instead of famously drunk we should call it "Farleyed" in honor of Terrell Farley and driving into a cornfield?

  17. Awesome! Had the best day of any Husker Dlineman ever! Way to go J. Crick
  18. Since we are slinging blame around here so much lately, I'm gonna put this on Knapp's shoulders.
  19. f * c k me running God I hope this is a tasteless joke.
  20. So you would rather not win the North then go play for the Conference Championship? I don't understand that thinking.
  21. USC is still going to play for the NC because they won't drop in the ratings. The voters said USC played real good against a top 10 team. That's what ESPN just said. I agree. Why should they drop when they hardly dropped losing to a non-ranked team. Sounds fair to me. With two losses and probably 4 undefeated teams at the end of they season, they don't have a chance at the NC game. They will be out of the top 10 now, I would bet.
  22. You're not wrong, but I think we're underestimating the impact of several injuries on this team, beginning with Kody Spano. Guys like Burkhead, Helu, Thenarse.... these are key injuries. Losing Q hurt, too. We're not overcoming these injuries because we have such thin depth at these key positions, which is a big part of our problem. I agree about the injuries, but as far as the thin depth at RB I would say we were as deep as anyone in the country going into the season. I don't know many teams that have to go to their 5th RB that can move the ball on the ground. Think about the depth chart, how it actually is now. 1-Roy Helu, Jr. injured 2-Quentin Castille kicked 3-Rex Burkhead injured 4-Tray Robinson injured 5-Lester Ward played second half because of injury
  23. I take it you're not Jewish? I was being facetious, comparing Callahan and Hawkins is like trying to figure out who was better, Hitler or Stalin. Win.
  24. I don't care what they think of him. As an outsider, I thought it was hilarious. If he was our coach, I'd be pissed. As my grandmother always said, consider the source.
  25. hahaha, he said it 5 or 6 times. Fat little girlfriends....haha.
