  1. I don't know if you're talking to me or not... but I know. I was just saying that I would be willing to forgive and forget if he spends a lot of time on his back Thursday night. No Sir, just makin' a general statement, with my extreme disregard for "Fordouche" He really is a douche. I should know, much to my dismay, we can smell our own... oh, the class of '07....

  3. Yep, and Zac Lee just had a stinger.......... "He's fine, he's not hurt." Broken finger equals not hurt and fine with a stinger. We should all just believe what Bo says about injuries. Don't have a problem with him playing it close to the vest, but don't put stock in that to make yourself feel better. Won't believe it until I see him on the field, as others have stated.
  4. Sure, he said it. And the Three Stooges really hit each other with sledge hammers and hatchets. you saying the Three Stooges didnt really hit each other????? sh#t, next i guess you are going to tell me that pro wrestling is fake! Oh please...don't tell me wrestling is fake....I just couldn't take it. I almost killed my kittens when I found out some porno's are actually being made with a plot What do you mean killed your kittens?
  5. got Rush? Seems the only reason half of America believes that is they don't form their own opinions after listening to or reading an unbiased report. Don't listen to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, or Keith Olbermann. None of them say one thing without an agenda. Some don't know what the definition of Socialism is.... I do agree that race has something to do with what people think of the President, but not a large percentage of people base their opinions on that fact alone or at all. Has nothing to do with Rush. When the Federal Gov is buying chunks of private businesses (GM/Chrysler & Banks) That is socialism at its purest form. When someone has said they want a single gov run health care system, that is again Socialism. You are right, some don't know the Definition of socialism. So here it is off of webster, so you will know. Main Entry: so·cial·ism Pronunciation: \ˈsō-shə-ˌli-zəm\ Function: noun Date: 1837 1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods 2 a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state 3 : a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done None of those things are happening or have been advocated. By the way, Bush started this precedent of federal "bail outs" for the banks this go around. Is he a socialist? Also, the government doesn't have any control in the day to day decisions of the businesses that were bailed out which would be the administration part of your definition. YOU CAN'T HAVE SOCIALISM IF THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T CONTROL DECISIONS AND PRODUCTION. It is right in your fancy little definition. Have you read the health care proposition by Obama? There is one state sponsored option and the rest are private party companies that are options. The only difference is no one can be denied because of a pre-existing conditions. That isn't socialism either. We require all vehicles to have seatbelts, airbags, and other safety equipment to protect people. Is that Socialism as well because the Federal government is "controlling" production?
  6. He showed up in January and he's been here a year and a half? You have to be the most mature person that visits this board with this little display of yours today. Ignore list..... Did you notice that he has started around 10-15 topics too It all stems from a post in the Woodshed

  9. Can we please set the Mizzou hatred aside until after Thursday? NOPE, F u c k 'Em (Sorry, Fro. Getting pissed at all the other flamers and trolls on here)
  10. Loaves and fish. Enough for all of Florida. I literally spit beer on my computer.......dick! j/k
  11. Oh dear Lord, please double Suh all night long. He will still push those guys backwards and will leave single blocking from your inexperienced and not so talented offensive line on the rest of our DLine. If you think simply doubling Suh is going to win this game in the trenches, you have another thing coming.
  12. Kind of expected my Mizzou fans around here anymore, Fro. Don't sweat it, man. j/k
  13. That sack came on a blitz if I remember correctly. DL was still in "contain" mode. I could be wrong though, and if I am, please someone correct me Yeah, it was a blitz. This is entirely the point. We put pressure on him with the blitz from the 3. We put no pressure on him when they were at the 11. Now riddle me this, if containment is broken do the LB's stand a better chance coming up when he crosses the 3 or the 11. The QB can't legally pass once he crosses the line of scrimmage. I would hope our LB's could come up and get him when he's 11 yards from the goal. I don't think they can when he's only got 3 yards to go, yet we blitzed and put pressure on anyway. It was a gutsy call to blitz when they were at the 3. One way of thinking, sure. But since we sent a secondary player on that play up the middle I would bet Bo was trying to negate a run pass option since they were so close. That would have been the smart offensive call. Roll out Taylor after a PA fake and then let him throw or run. If he can't find an open guy and can't run it in he throws it away. At the 11, because of the reasons you gave, that wasn't a viable option so you play coverage and wait to bring the heat on 4th down.
  14. Blaine Gabbert's 40 time is 4.65, not 4.50. That's according to Rivals, which a friend of mine says is a pretty reliable site. And yes, Chase did gash us a couple of times in 2007. But this isn't the 2007 Husker D, which Cosgrove was busy trying to mold into a heavy, slow Big 10-esque defense. For some reason a bunch of Big 10 teams have yet to get the memo that you need SPEED on defense, and Cos was one of those old school Big 10 guys who wanted big, strong, slow LBs. Phillip Dillard was a "star" in Cosgrove's defenses, yet when Bo came he rode the bench because (according to some rumors) Dillard refused to drop the weight necessary to earn PT. This year we're starting Will Compton (who actually does run a 4.5 40), Sean Fisher (4.60 40) and Mathew May (4.63 40) at LB, meaning that every one of our LBs can chase Gabbert down from behind. But here's the fun part - we have D Linemen who can run down quarterbacks, too. Ndamukong Suh's 40 time is 4.8, and if he's got an angle or a step, Gabbert's going down. He's run down QBs several times already, including Reesing in last year's game with Kansas on a couple of different plays. Barry Turner was clocked at 4.5 and Pierre Allen was clocked at 4.6. That's three guys on our D Line who can run Gabbert down, something he hasn't faced yet this year. Man its a bitch when somebody uses those damn facts in an argument, isn't it?
  15. But that just proves how great Nevada is. If they were really bad they would have lost eleventy billion to nothing. Nevada is a good team. And Missouri trounced them unmercifully in a hailstorm of Gabberts and Tigers that lasted from the opening kickoff through the final gun. Seriously. No, really. That's how it all happened. This was immediately followed by a phone call from Bo Pelini admitting that this game shouldn't be played because the mighty mighty Tigers have beaten Nebraska the last two years by 60 points. We are going to still show up for a mid-week scrimmage anyway for you, said Pelini. As soon as Pelini hung up Urban Meyer called and congratulated Pinkel on his team's title of greatest team ever assembled which was seconded by Jesus himself, and I don't mean Tim Tebow, the real thing man. Then Tom Osborne called the Missouri AD and said, don't worry about getting that little bell out we don't have a chance in winning it ever again. You might as well erect a permanent structure on campus to hold it forever because we have given up. We have one here we used for 30 years if you would like to model yours after it. Actually just take it, what the hell. We can put our new rivalry trophy with Nevada there. They are more realistic for us to try to compete with, I mean dadgummit, they only lost by 35 to the great Notre Dame and we all know how fantastic that program is at this point.
